    YK,
    What about if the exit of the maze is located at the middle?

    • @varun0655
      @varun0655 Před 4 lety +18

      worst case you will comeback to the starting point from where you entered and more over when the exit is in the middle it has to connect to the outter wall somehow so that you can get out of the maze

    I honestly figured that out as i was a kid (i often solved mazes in the typical "kids-newsletter" or drew mazes...
    Im rly suprised about the comments, asking if it would also work with the opposite hand xD
    Also i think you should have mentioned that it would only work if you are entering the maze from the beginning... > (if you are thrown somewhere random in you could loop yourself through section which arent connected to the walls)

    What about circular mazes where the exit might be in the center or multiple exits on the outer wall? I'm wondering if Highgarden from ASOIAF would be a realistic castle. They have a huge rose maze around the castle and everyone would have to go through that whenever they come and go (unless of course they added tunnels under connected by concealed trapdoors to make shortcuts).

    • @gerardjagroo
      @gerardjagroo Před rokem +1

      Well they can't have tradesmen with wagons an everything tramping through the maze because that would destroy the maze.
      My guess is that there is a main entrance that runs over a series of bridges moats and complete with drawbridges. During a siege the Drawbridges will be raised and the enemy soldiers will have no way to approach the walls except through the Maze.
