Denis was a beast in his prime! 💪 315-320lbs of solid muscle. Once he ended up in the hospital he got down to about 240ish lbs.. I hear he’s already back up to 280-290lbs in 2022 and looking strong. Just hope he will remain healthy in his comeback.
What was he in the hospital for?
@@mrcuboid Denis ended up in the hospital in early 2019 due to kidney issues related to the steroids he was taking. Took a toll on his health for a good while.
@@AMF96 I head he had cystic fibrosis mostly because of high blood pressure because of big weights he was training with. Steroids are obviously involved in this but people just spread too many bullshit without actually knowing what happened. Its high blood pressure for long periods causing kidney damage.

375 pound curls are super-human. That's amazing. I used to bench over 300 pounds and thought I was special. Nope! lol Really puts things into perspective.
bro that guy is using fake weights. I weigh around 21O pounds and the bench can barely support me. Now image that little bench supporting 375 pounds after he dropped it. Yet the bench didn't even move. 13:01 those arm wrestling contest is never about being the strongest rather cheating by pushing all your bodies weight down while using your arm and some squeeze on the thumb of the opponent.

@@bono448 that bench he dropped those weights on is a mini bench and i use a regular size bench. An average bench usually wobbles every time i sit on it and a large indentation is left after I sit or lay on it while lifting weights. If i thru a bar bell with 50 pounds on it the bench would rattle and probably flip over.

@@nikg6211 уникум = уникальный. у него очень крутой отклик на тренировки и допинг, а его размеры и до приема фармы были внушительные. если тебе дать гормошку, то ты не станешь таким мощным в костях и рука у тебя не будет, как у него никогда. собственно, что ты выжмешь когда-нибудь 280-290 кг я тоже сомневаюсь, как и в том, что ты можешь выступать по стронгам. Дозировки - ты их не переваришь, просто откинешься быстренько и всё, а Денис переваривал их годами, здоровье позволяло. Как думаешь, случайно это? по моему, немного людей с такими размерами и качествами, то есть, можно сказать, что это уникум в чистом виде.

@@user-lh6fg4fs6y Разная тренировка. Пушкарь любил заворачивать глубоко внутрь, смещая корпус, чтобы грудные работали. + верх хороший, очень хороший. Однако, в поединке с Ларратом Денис подкорректировал тренировку, добавил верх, углы уменьшил. Перестал гоняться за весами, а на верх добавил значительно.

@@wckd_1 да какая разница использовал стероиды или не использовал? В амре силу надо применять правильно. Тренировал угол - идёшь туда. А если нужный угол слабый, то приходится кряхтеть.
Вот кряхтение я не люблю, потому мне и не нравится смотреть борьбу Квинквиньи, Костадинова, того же Цыпленкова.
Но Денис добавил верх, углы и сразу стала красивая борьба. В свое время Денис добавил бок, выиграл Джона Брезенка. Так же и Пушкаря выиграл.
Денис это машина. Однозначная уважуха.
