With a low GPA, can I boost my application using a compelling Statement of Purpose, solid TOEFL scores, and relevant work experiences? Is GPA the ultimate factor in your opinion?

Each component is considered. I think it’s more about the bigger picture. So, a great GPA supports your application, but won’t necessarily be the main one. So, I would try to boost your application by really taking time to show them who you are and where you’re going.

how important is gpa in the application process? is there a minimum score that applicants should attain, say 3.5 of 3.6 for example? thank you a lot

There’s no minimum! It’s just one part of the application. They can accept 25% of people below their posted scores and keep that number!
