The huntsman ending: Valve removes all sniper rifles and puts the huntsman as Sniper's stock primary, renaming the class as the Hunter.

Have you seen how crazy good rocket aimbots can be? They'd figure out that the huntsman uses half the bounding box for headshot checks.
Lowkey if sniper only had the Huntsman, Sydney Sleeper, and Classic he would be far more tolerable
@chainsawplayin It's slightly better when getting headshot across the map takes a second and you can move in whichever direction you want. There's at least some genuine counterplay on the table.

Alternative ending, the community makes a sourcemod of tf2 that is exactly like vanilla tf2 and everyone moves there

@@Luksed12 Those servers are probably a lot more moderated, preventing bot waves to spread to other community mods.
I mean tf2 classic are the upper class tf2 community they don’t abuse bots and instead they use them only for testing and infinite content because the players are the ones who makes it
Bots ending: every time a bot joins a game, it turns into wave 666 without upgrades only for the bot
Honestly, if they start making updates back after the mouvement, a new tour composed of aimbotters could be interresting

Heavy- Returning to motherland after much blood, Mikhail would return to mother and three sisters and take care of for the rest of natural life. Would write Russian literary and win several prizes for his book 'Бархатный рассвет (Velvet Dawn)'.
Engineer- The transition from that old frontline to wrestlin' businesses into his fold came natural to Dell Conagher who would go on to found Conagher Enterprises and would temporarily partner with Apature Laboratories to help draft the first Sentry Turrets before quietly separating in 1985 due sharesholding issues. Others however, cite the degrading mental state of Apature CEO, Cave Johnson as the real reason.
Medic- Mister Ludwig continued to do what he did best, practicing medicine. He roamed around the world, healing those in need and trying out new inventions for his many medi-guns! However, during a test, the highly experimental 'Tele-Medi' malfunction and he, along with his patient's tumor, vanished and was never heard from again.
Sniper- Mick Mundy would return to New Zealand for a time to catch up with his ol' ma and pa, regaling them in graphic, horrifying detail of the various jobs he went on. Mister Mundy would return to service as a bounty hunter and quickly found himself at the top of the food-chain, although it was short lived after having to need to replace both kidney due to several failures requiring several years of sugary. To this day, he regrets taking those pills...
Spy- Not much is known about the dashing, daring killer that is Spy-not even his name. But it is safe to be assuredly assume he lived a magnificent life after MannCo discovered a stipulation in his contract of ' early canceled service' which made them pay out the nose. It is unknown where Spy is now, but the amount of reported, mysterious deaths from unseen assailants firmly along the European coast is most likely a telling sign.
And so the team's journey came to an end... for now.
In the new world of a post MannCo war, blood was split and many lived and died - just as they had before.

Revengeance Ending
That would inevitably result in 'worst ending.'
My personal ranking of possibilities (possible to least possible) :
1. Neutral Ending (Bad ending but realistic)
2. Good Ending (Valve likes money. When money stops, Valve fix problem. It will never be perfect.)
3. Bad Ending (The TF2 community will always prevail)
4. Best Ending (Even more unlikely than us giving up is getting a permanent fix. Unfortunately the world is a cruel place.)
5. Worst Ending (Why would Valve shut down the game and lose profit when they could let it sit until it dies off?)
6. Removal Ending (Valve knows that this option is a band-aid fix that only covers one of the many bleeding wounds of the bot crisis)
7. ??? Ending (See below)
8. Sequel Ending (Valve can't count to 3)
Tf2 is one of valves most successful games, over 20k players even after all this shit is going on. But they still won't bother to fix the bots or adleast add new weapons. They just make fucking lootboxes and let it rot
Valve likes money but TF2 isn't profitable enough for them to care, if we stop spending money on the game Valve will care even less and assume it's finally dead for good
Worst ending is very likely because players refusing to play means they lose money anyways. It is unrealistic for them to come to an older project to fix it.
the best ending would be tf2 getting updated again (and removal of bots)
We ended up getting the good ending, didn't think it would happen.
Imagine Deadlock is a year long prank and at the end they announce tf3, it would be legendary

@@oglocfriendIt's not gonna get bombed by the tf2 community. It's most likely going to be targeted by bot hosters. I don't plan on playing at all, cause fuck Valve as a company and I'm pretty much done buying or playing their products
Some say the bad ending or worse ending are the most realistic. But knowing the community's stubbornness, neutral ending is what valve's and the community's decisions will converge to if not mass migration toward TF2 classic. I hardly see valve making the sequel but it would be great between a more advanced source engine, less spaghetti code. Using TF2 as a cheater economy containment unit while TF3 would be the gaming game, sadly valve can't count to 3 and I do not see them pleasing a community that became focused on pushing a bad reputation on them but they also kinda deserve it for their lack of communication.

Tf2 is like a decade old people need to move on to something new and valve never made any major updates it was supposed to be a 3 year game they should make tf3 if they want money and happy people instead of updating tf2

Australian ending: all bot hosters were found dead in their own houses. According to authorities, cause of death was gunshot head wound (headshot).
Authorities found sticky notes on the bodies with one phrase written on it: “GOOD SHOT MATE!”

revolution ending: the community took matters of their own hands and goes to valve studio and demand the team and gabe to update and remove bots and cheaters in the game. the revoluton will NEVER rest until the community gets what they want
dream ending: community becomes a hardcore and tight-knit programming group to save tf2 by any means

Instead of removing the class they'd just remove the primary slot. So sniper would now be a aussie scout with a horrible smg weapon. Or a sort of Sniper-knight subclass with jarate and machete

Nah they got heavy bots if sniper gets removed. Bot hosters literally have every bot at their disposal, there have been engi bots, medic bots, and even spy bots (spycrabs tho). Can't wait until casual turns into mvm

@@billymkj2763 Many CZcamsrs and streamers won't give up both because they believe in the movement and it's free content. For that reason alone there might continue to be easy to participate in events organized like the petition. Nobody is gonna give up and posting about it and sending reviews is something everyone can do in their spare time or when they get to it (when they would otherwise be playing games, possibly TF2).

It isn't exactly gonna die when people will buy lootboxes anyways from them as well as those MVM tickets.
Literally the only reason valve gains so much revenue, literally apart from the steam market.
What really makes me mad is that they're not letting tf2 completely die. They're still adding content to the game. If they don't care about the game. Just announce they're done with content support.
Rebalance ending:
Bots still infest casual servers, but sniper is nerfed so they aren't as much of a problem
True best/impossibly good ending:
Valve fixes TF2 and hires contractors to start updating VAC again, fixing all cheating in not just TF2, but across all of their titles. The game also starts receiving regular major updates once more, including balance changes to various weapons and classes, invigorating the game's playerbase, growing it to new heights never seen before and ushering in a second golden age for Valve and TF2. We also receive the final comic
Scary ending:
The bots and cheaters just stop one day, there's no explanation and even Valve expresses confusion
GLaDoS ending:
GLaDoS took over VAC and started banning cheaters
Doxxed ending:
All the bot hosters got doxxed, their lives are made hell and some are even arrested, bots vanish from TF2, but the community is divided on whether or not it was okay to do this
True worst ending:
Valve ignores our pleas and never fixes TF2, instead they shut down the casual servers
Bot hosters eventually crack community anti-cheat measures and start infesting community servers instead, overwhelming the human moderators and admins, all the server hosters give up and TF2 is eventually dies, not with a bang, but with a whimper
MvM ending:
Everyone just starts playing MvM instead, the only gamemode the hosters don't care to send bots to
Scary ending and GLaDoS ending are the best ones
GLaDOS would probably just ban everyone.

Scary ending is prob the most likely if the neutral ending happens, as why even go through the effort of botting if nobody plays casual anymore
@@CameronE.128 Yea im thinking the bot hosters will either give up, or try to go into community servers (with varying levels of success) and if they go to the wrong community server there's a chance for the doxing ending (Which part of me kinda hopes so that they get a taste of their own medicine)

The weird ending: Valve sells TF2 to Bethesda and makes TF2 next-gen update (breaks the optimization and breaks all of the bot programs)

Simplest fix Valve can do is remove Casual and replace with Quickplay. Sure, it doesn’t solve Bots problem like this, but it does solve Cheating Bots problem because Community servers runs its own Anti Cheat anyways. Means, if we bring back Quickplay, this solves like 50% of TF2.
Here's an anticheat measure I heard about some time ago:
There's this game (of which I don't remember the name of) but basically, if you were caught cheating, it wouldn't ban you, it'd pair you up with other cheaters, slowly but surely, until eventually, the cheaters were weeded out of casual play, and free to do whatever in their own little quarantine zone. Legit players get to play legit players, cheaters against cheaters.
It's a simple spell but quite unbreakable.

For me, shutting down *official* TF2 servers and removing the game from Steam is not so bad. At the very least, they will stop getting money from a game they don't even do anything for. This will not be a problem for us, we still will be able to download game from third party sources and play on community servers. It will be new era for mods as TF2 Classic, for example.
Problem with removing the official servers is that the bots could move into the community servers.

Valve will get sued if they do that, some items n weapons on tf2 are very expensive
I don't see the point of removing it from Steam, as that's just allowing pirates to get sued by Valve, but shutting the official servers down in favor of community run ones, while implementing a system that allows devs to fidget with the source code of TF2 (based on a yearly vote of what bits of code are added and where), making it an open source project pretty much is the move I'd suggest.
The strategy of drinking bonk and taunt killing a pile of bots is incredible, and I want to start using it immediately.

No, it isn't, because then, most other VALVe game economies would crash due to people perceiving a MUCH higher risk in any VALVe game items.

sniper is such a shallow class, there's no depth to his gameplay that separates him from any other sniper character, in any other game and his presence makes the experience worse for everybody else in the lobby since you have to play the movement based first person shooter like a stealth game
