I can imagine Maul being like, "In my day, we spun our lightsabers manually
"Damn casuals!" - Also Maul, probably
Grand inquisitor in that one scene in rebels: yes
It’s all about automatic transmission, now
Plus Exar Kun would be insulted considering he the creator of double bladed lightsaber.
😂
As the High Ground, I can confirm that portable High Ground does in fact give one tactical advantage over their enemies.
Thank you for your service

Use a jet pack that’s why Obi won likes mandalorians
@@robertcerniglia2616 Jetpacks have the risk of Malfunctioning when you hit them. Like Boba Fett in Rotj and the Sheriff dude from Mando Season 2. You won’t be able to get close to someone with a lightsaber that can give them the High Ground
When Vader said "Portable high ground" it made me think of this lego animation of Obi Wan taking a jetpack and saying "PORTABLE HIGH GROUND"
I remember that not the lego bit but I guess that was the only way for it to be animated

No, Reva is likable in this.

Disney Star Wars is garbage, so why not?
No
I always thought of the spinning being an intimidation tactic. Like, nobody wants to fight someone with uncontrollable spinning swords. Anyways, I never considered the high ground being a factor in it, so props to you guys for your brilliance.
yeah, screw that, i’d be intimidated by an opponent with a fuck off death bey blade on their hand, heck, i wouldn’t even wanna BE the one with the spinning blade, it really does intimidates
Because that always works on Jedi, right Grievous? Oh, he is dead...
@@user-xx6vy9ri8p Yeah but he does have a reputation as being one of the most feared Jedi killers and as we saw, Obi-Wan barely managed to kill him.
@@dhruvrathi7116 Logically he shouldn't have because in the Clone Wars show he is a clown.
@@user-xx6vy9ri8p He’s is a clown yes but sometimes he at least shows that he is competent so figured I might mention it.
It was a running gag in Rebels that these look intimidating at first but actually suck. That stupid loop outright got the Grand Inquisitor killed because it's a literal hole in his defense.
How else was sidious suppose to win a hypothetical 1 vs 12 at most with minimal chance of actually getting bested by a sheer number advantage? Shitty sabers. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were bombs in the sabers that sets off a chain reaction with the kyber crystal that the emperor could set off with the force or something
I know right, it was rebels pointing out it's kinda doo doo
@@themelon_1785
"You can't lose the game of Life, if you rig everything from the get-go." - Palpatine, probably
Well he shouldn't have just let kanan destroy his lightsaber so easily. Just move it around a little
Star Wars is garbage
Considering the fact a big theory that the Inquisitors were intentionally gimped in terms of power and potentially with even tech to prevent them from rising against Palpatine and Vader, I wouldn't be surprised if ther sabers were solely designed to be flashy/intimidating to make up for the specificly flawed training they were given. The Inquisitors are force wielding equivalent of the Tarkin Doctrine, aka just fucking intimidate everything with a big weapon even if the weapon is impractical, so they were designed to be scary and not truly effective.
Yes that’s exact the reason
Also the spinning was for blaster deflection since they generally couldn’t do that (only the grand inquisitor really could him and one other were knights the rest were padawans and young kings tortured into becoming inquisitors
I feel like It is effective look at how The Second Sister in Jedi Fallen Order fight with it.
but they are not scary looking, at most those sabers make me worry for the inquisitors, they may cut their faces with a wrong wrist turn.
Intimidating was Grievous. That is scary
I buy that but the spinning saber doesn't even follow the laws of how a lightsaber works. When the emitters spin around the circle, they break the alignment with the crystal. It doesn't make any sense for them to be able to carry the blades around like that.
@@DrewFilms05 the cyst also are in the ring not the handle
We see the thing get destroyed and the handle is just circuitry
What a great father daughter moment
But what Vader doesn’t know, is that he already HAS a daughter. One living on Alderaan and is one sassy little kid.
Like father, like daughter.
“Let’s try spinning the lightsaber, that’s a cool trick!”
"In Star Wars the lightsaber isn’t radiating heat so it doesn’t light everyone on fire. When Luke made his green lightsaber he states that he couldn’t feel the heat which means the conductors are working. so there is something in place to prevent everyone from catching on fire

The silent look they give each other when she says she wants the blades to spin so fast they lift her up. 😂😂
I haven't laughed this much in awhile. I remember watching Rebels and the grand inquisitor's spinning saber thinking "well... ok." Then the other inquisitors come in and use them to fly...
But it was all worth it when Maul showed up and destroyed them.
What fun!
Maul: "Now this looks like a job for me!"
The spinning lightsaber was cool until they flew
@@johnnygyro2295 don’t dare messing with the goat
I love how Darth Vader changed his mind immediately as he heard the word "Hight Ground."
Also, I love this Reeva! She is like a child who would do anything to get what she wants.
The moment Riva came out texting oh phone- er- datapad, I knew exactly what you were doing with her character and I was _all_ for it.
Yeah, the helicopter-saber always bugged me ever since Rebels, when the Inquisitors would just FLING themselves into the air and fly away like they were Inspector Gadget.
The funny part is I remember Hasbro had this saber in stores way before Rebels and Disney and Inquisitors came along. For some reason it was the General Grevious lightsaber when it first came out.
I remember that too! They straight up took a toy and made it an actual thing in universe
@@DrHundTF2, that did bring my childhood back
The inquisition lightsabers have repulser technology in the hilt (the circle part) the same technology that lets things hover in Star Wars….it’s still stupid though
OH WE KNOW! We had to triple take at the silliness of that little factoid 😆
Repulsor Technology? But isn’t that Stark’s tech!?
@@multiverse_media2023 repulsorlift is star wars tech. Old star wars novels like truce at bakura is where I first read about it
not the worst lightsaber design i mean wrist mounted lightsaber sounds dumb what is this the predator movies or worst a lightsaber hidden blade 😅
wouldn't the repulsers push the user down as well, so it will just fly off with the user's hand? and why does it need to spin?
Honestly, I don't hate the Inquisitor lightsaber persay. But I DO HATE the flying around helicopter style that the Inquisitors do on occasions.
Don't underestimate the powerrrrr of the high ground ^^
Yeah I have always found that dumb as I know star wars is meant to be fantasy but I feel like Issac newtons third law would come into effect when they started flying as they would end up spinning in the opposite direction of the blades also not to mention the inquisiters weight would not be able to be carry by thin round blades,
Seriously it actually makes the light saber suit look sensible and that had sensors in the suit which would deactivate each of the blades that came too close to the body to prevent dismemberment.
Also how do the blades stay active when spinning given the kyber crystal is in the middle of the hilt not at the end of the vent.
So you hate Yoshimitsu as well, the most badass in fighting games!?
He is a regular in 2 franchises!!!
I honestly have no idea who that is, I just looked him up and he sounds cool but I'm not that into fighting games, if that's the impression I was giving then I do apologize, I'm just not that big a fan of the whole flying around on a spinning light saber for some reason my suspension of disbelief gos out the window with it.
Anyways hope that clears things up and hope you have a good day.
Star Wars is a dumb kids show made by bolshevics
"Portable high ground" BEAUTIFUL
The high ground bit made the entire video perfect.
Reeva being the Daughter that Leia never could be for Vader is hilarious, cute and sad at the same time!
Also the apprentice that starkiller could never be
@@Deathmare235 You mean dumb?
@@user-xx6vy9ri8p I meant canon
“It looks like it was designed by a Gungan tripping balls on death sticks”
Yup, I’m using that from now on
Jarry: That's a pretty tall order, boss I'm not even sure the laws of physics will allow for this, I don't even-
Vader: Oh no. Anyways, I want two hundred thousand units ready with a million well on their way.
No matter how ridiculous, no one says no to Vader. No one! Not since Obi Wan told him not to risk fighting him without the high ground.
I always figured Sith Inquisitors were given this Lightsaber to emulate the fighting style of General Grievous, so the unorthodox fighting style could compensate for lack of skill or power (since by design inquisitors are only about as strong as a padawan, MAYBE some could be as strong as a knight.) Because remember, as skilled a swordsman as Grievous was, he did not have any force powers.
Inquisitors are not as strong as a Padawan, reva wasnt a common inquisitor that's why she's the weakest of them all, all the others were knights and even masters
The ability depends on the inquisitor, to put it simply the grand inquisitor was a temple guard once, before the dark times, before the empire
That actually makes some sense, Greivous was menacing and I could see a portion of inspiration from him into the inquisitors sabers.
No. An Inquisitor can also be a jedi master. In Jedi Fallen Order Vader said "You would've made an excellent inquisitor" to Cal's mentor who was a Jedi master.
Prosset Dibs/10th brother was a Jedi master though. But I can see your explanation still working, since not all of them are knights/masters but they need to be effective.
Darth Vader: your idea of a saber is impossible and Idotic!
Reva: i could get a portable high ground
Darth Vader: *TRIGGERED*
The idea of Vader making freindly small talk is both adorable and funny
The way the guy and Vader just stare at each other when she said she wants to fly with it, priceless
Love this interpretation of Reva, so much SAS 😆 🤣 😂
The original Battlefront loading screen audio that plays when the lightsaber moc up is being put together on the screen is just *chefs kiss*
Best episode of warp zone in a long time! Love it!
I agree it was very hilarious especially they way Vader and saber smith reacting how stupid it is about having Inquisitors spinning lightsabers to be able to fly like fans reacted. I mean I don’t mind Inquisitors lightsabers to spin and I think it’s cool having spinning mode for combat duel, lightsaber throwing, and making poses with it but having them able to fly is ridiculous.
I know the mask is none changing but I could see the eyes widening in realization... it's hilarious
I love the character of young reva!! That was really funny!
If this scene was in kenobi it would 100% have improved reva's character
a 100% improvement of 0 is still 0!
@@JackManic1984 Not if you add 1 or above.
spoilers - once we learn her full story and motives she's a really tragic and interesting character.
obviously not everyone will like the same thing tho so YMMV
@@RedCaio potentially but they did the character dirty. Like there's no reason why she should make thr link from anakin to vader and she somehow is all knowing all the time and had plot armour. You're telling me the most savage villain would really leave someone half dead alive after what he went thru. Plus her final plan is stupid. It had a great building blocks but they really shat the bed.
Best blooper ever! and if you'll excuse me I'm going to look up lightsaber "toys' now 😂
I wonder how badly injured one would by if they ignited their saber up their ass 🤔

My god the way darth vaders looked when he was thinking of the high ground was funny as hell
2:41 I love how even Vader was confused
“That way I’ll always have the high ground…” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I feel like they all should’ve had their own lightsabers.
Even Vader is confused when spinning is a good trick😂😂😂
Honestly….. I totally see reva doing this 😂 just based on her interactions with the others.
Love the original battlefront sounds when he is adding things to the saber on the computer
😁😁😁
But seriously, in canon they made them spin to look intimidating and also give a chance for them to deflect blaster bolts because inquisitors suck with the force and otherwise couldn’t do either of those.
The flying part is straight stupid though
She's a magical Jedi flying through the air... "SHOOT IT DOWN!"
I love the relationship between Vader and Reva here
It all started with a crossguard lightsaber lol I love the sound effects from the original Star Wars Battlefront game
This video fixed Reva for me. Just make her full on sassy . Would've been awesome
"Portable high ground!" Lol, this Canon to me!
Lord Vader later went to intimidate those laws of physics, intimidation always works.

Your Riva outfit look more fitting in the Star Wars universe than the Riva outfit from the "real" show.
I can imagine Moses Ingram losing it while watching this. It’s awesome to see a funny Star Wars video with Reva.
This is better then the actual show
When Fans can make Reeva more enjoyable than Disney
Ahsoka is probably somewhere feeling so betrayed and replaced in the force while watching this video.
Talia is just great! Invite her more often
"portable high ground!" Hahahahahaha
Damn, u guys got the actual Reva from the show!
when a youtube skit of starwars is more entertaining than the shows or movies lol
this was a great sketch, thank you warp zone!!
I like how Darth Vader's character is reduced to "¡Now this is podracing!" because of that one quote.
Awesome. I wonder how Exar Kun would feel about the Inquisitor lightsabers.
Flying using the Inquisi-saber makes them look like Mary Poppins fell to the Dark side.
Oh man, if I’m right, the sound when Davis types is the map loading sound from the OG Battlefront 1 (on the ps2). That Brought back some fond memories 🤧
‘A Gungan tripping balls on death sticks.’ Is the greatest line I’ve ever heard.

Was that the noise of a Star Trek doorbell at the beginning?
Yeah theres a few sound effect Easter eggs in this, that is one.

So Darth Vader and Reva are basically Thanos and Gamora?
I yelled what twice before they got to it lmao
“I want my light saber to make me fly!”
I heard her say "High Ground" and I went "It's all over now😅😅😅"
Love the Star Trek door bell at the beginning. 🖖
Reva as a surrogate daughter to Vader like an Ahsoka/Anakin analogue is such a fascinating take. That would have really upped the drama between them.
They fly now!!?? THEY FLY NOW!!!!!
Portable high ground! Love it.
'now this is pod racing !' was cherry on top XD
I love your guys Star Wars, DC, and Marvel stuff
Portable high ground (0 0) They make so much sense now.
Even the books poke fun at how useless these things are. In the novel "Ahsoka" the titular character manages to beat up and inquisitor while UNARMED, and then uses the force to make the stupid "helicopter track" malfunction and explode, killing its owner (thats were she got the crystals for her new white colored sabers by the way).
I want her playing Reva next time. She´s fucking good!
Man the flashbacks to the high ground made me laugh so loud it's 7am everyone is sleep
4:12 The laws of physics? Only The Empire can make the laws around here!
That's so Reva... coming soon to Disney Plus😂
”Portable high ground” 😂🤣😂🤣
I love your channel keep up the great stuff!
You have to admit that the inquisitors lightsabers are a big mystery, especially when you consider how lightsabers work with their Khyber crystals 🤔🤔🤔

Rebel snipers below the inquisitor.
Rebel 1:"hey what's that thing flyin up there?"
Rebel 2: "looks like a Sith-copter or somethin"
Rebel 1: "should we-"
Rebel 2: (fires blaster)
Inquisitor: (drops dead)
Rebel 2: "guess she had the *too* high ground"
Every time I see inquisitors in the games or shows I get on my knees and PRAY to Jabba that they aren't gonna do this helicopter crap again
Well thankfully it did not happen again so far is Jedi Fallen Order, Obi-Wan Kenobi series and comics so let’s hope it keeps it that way.
Ahh a sequel to the cross cross guard video
I'm living for the TNG sounds in the beginning of a Star Wars video.
