Mock Driving Test - UK Practical Driving Test
This is Joyston who came to Drive London after his test with a different driving school. We did a couple of lessons to get him back up to test standard and did a couple of mock tests to see if there's any areas that needed working on. This was his last mock test before his actual test.
In the video the text colour would mean:
GREEN: GOOD POINTS
AMBER: ADVISORY AND MINOR FAULTS

my goodness, that pull up on the right manouever was crazy! hardly any traffic when he pulled up and then suddenly there was a ton of cars! well done and a credit to his patience, thats how its done! it was a shame about the minor for being so close to the speed hump tho. it was also the same manouever as i did when i did my test. i dont think he will have any troubles passing his real test for sure. he seems like a safe driver.

Is test easy
Passed my test 2 hours ago. With 6 minor faults, (3 for undue hesitation at the roundabout) but I was playing it safe, don't want to move out prematurely and fail. These pass videos really helped me so big thank you. Good luck to everyone and always prepare prepare prepare... =)
That’s good 👍 I just wanted to know when ur at the traffic lights do before moving off do u look at the side mirrors then interior mirror or interior then side mirror?
@@UMVLOGZ12 Personally, I look at the left mirror (incase a bike comes), center mirror (to see what's going on behind me) and right mirror before setting off. It's just easier to do a sweep in that order (and it's a good habit.)

Really good drive, he should pass no problem. Many thanks to you Drive London for all the mock tests you upload for us all. I passed two weeks ago with five driving faults. Just watch out for those West London seagulls pinching your chips.

I passed my driving test yesterday with 4 minors. While practicing with my instructor, I had been watching these videos which widened my knowledge. Rohith you’re really brilliant!!!. If someone has their test soon, don’t be nervous, try to watch all these videos, it will build up your confidence. Don’t panic during the test, try to exchange your thoughts with the examiner when you do minor errors. It can happen to any one when they are nervous. Man, I wish the roads were this quiet and this nice in my area for tests, it's absolutely horrible around here, even a roundabout with two lanes, but only has one lane exists, it is a nightmare.

Got mine on Friday, hoping it’s not cancelled due to the snow. Hopefully get my car licence done at 37 after riding motorbikes since 2004 through all weathers. Time for some comfort and warmth as I get older in a car.

Very helpful video, my test on 1th November, in wednesbury, as I see you you take third right on mini roundabout, but didn't take right on big roundabout, here wednesbury so many big roundabout.,

I'm pretty sure on some satnavs you can change the voice, it comes down to preference.

8:25 He was correct not to signal here when overtaking, because it's a single lane. You should only signal if it's more than 1 lane.

Can an assessor give you a minor for travelling to slow like 25 in a 30? I know motorway abs dual carriageway speeds are different but in a road like this when the sat jab says that he is going 20, can he marked down for it?
Best if you try to keep to the speed limit. Driving slow really depends on your environment on the street. (Especially if it's busy or there are many corners or cars parked ahead.) Use the correct speed by demonstrating good awareness and judgement. Search "driving appropriate speed" videos on CZcams to understand better.

I thought I saw the learner coasting on few occasions. How did the instructor not see it?
At 21:00 he didn't check blind spot when merging on to the carriage way would that not be a serious or even marked as a minor?

I hope my examiner asks for parallel or reverse 2 car lengths on the right.. I hate my bay parkings. My test is on May 12th and am on my 41st hour.. wish me luck!

@@jagmeetkaur141 Failed on May 12th for mistaking parked cars as part of traffic so I stopped behind them on a green light. 4 weeks later June 7th passed with 3 minors. Did forward bay on the failed test and reverse bay on the passed one

How are examiners audited? They surely have an incentive to fail a certain proportion of people because if too many people were passing then the examiner’s own examiner might say they must be too lenient. But what if 110 people all do good enough to pass, would the examiner have an incentive to start being harsher on some people just to get a more “normal” fail rage. It just seems so subjective; as long as they pass about half the tests and fail about half, the auditor would think they are doing their examining job fine.

Yeah exactly what I was thinking. He was already on the right side of the road by the time that car pulled out.
I agree. What was he supposed to do in that situation, stop? That should not have been a fault, as the other driver pushed their way through when they should have given way.

@@subaesk3014 Yep. Only in this situation at least, it shouldn't ruin your test if its the other driver who is at fault and not the learner.
