The whole legends thing for a college program...even a long and storied program as Michigan's...never made sense to me. I get it for pro franchises. But at the college level it always seemed a little strange.

Having a QB wear #98 just looks tacky. Definitely gimmicky, glad they did away with the legends patches and re-retired all the numbers.
Kinda surprised #2 has been in circulation for a long, but with Blake Corum and Will Johnson both wearing it, I’m sure in the future it’ll be an ‘earned’ number (much like #1 and WR’s)
