Do you have any personal rules or principles that you live by?
Dear Jamila, I hope you are doing well. I live by the principle that I should always be true to myself. That’s something I’ve always did since I can remember. Sometimes things don’t make sense at the beginning or I feel the need to fight it back but then I just do my best to listen to my intuition, without the need to try to explain everything. I like to be consistent rather than fast.
Thank you for sharing these principles. 🙌 The first quote “Day One or One Day” has guided my life for almost 4 years now. And just last month, when I needed a push to act on a new idea for my podcast, I woke up to this quote. You look lovely as always. ❤😊
My personal principle is: 'If you don't respect yourself, nobody will respect you.'
“Just that you do the right thing. The rest doesn’t matter. Cold or warm. Tired or well-rested. Despised or honored.” This is one of my favorites by Marcus Aurelius. As long as I know I am doing the right thing in my heart I am staying true to myself. This is how I stay aligned with my purpose and values. Thank you Jamila for such valuable wisdom! Show Up - I have a funny example of this! When I was in college, I studied abroad in the UK. I noticed the organization had a scholarship available, so I went ahead and applied. It turned out I was the only one who applied! Maybe the scholarship wasn't well publicized, or I don't know what, but I was the only applicant. I got $1,500 that covered my expenses and allowed me to spend the fall break in Italy! Just show up, you might be one of few people there and it's all for you!! 😂😂

Hello! A video suggestion- how to do daily things systematically? (Arranging & techniques & methods) for eg- making bed (folding sheets neatly or in a hotel ), keeping books neatly, keeping tables, managing washbasin & skincare etc etc ..simple, beautiful & neat.
