BSA: Wonderful(..So Far!). I grew up "surrounded by British bikes" belive it or not here in S.Calif.(..my Uncle was a BSA nut,, had a "58" Goldie he loved,,,myself: I do hope to "test ride" one of these once they cross the pond,,but i will drag my feet and wait for their " Twin" which we all know is on the way,,until then i will ride and enjoy both of "Twins" wholeheartidly!! 1966 BSA 650 Lightening and my 2019 RE Interceptor 650,, love them both!!!

I've paid the deposit for the Legacy model. Using a single cylinder Rotax engine was genius on the part of Mahindra. I love a torquey engine! 👍

Each to his own . I'm having one ... I like the look of it and it's a big single I'm after . Obviously I could buy an Enfield for less but they do NOTHING for me . BSA YESSSS . 😎👍

I’m not in the position to sign a check to BSA right now, but if i could find the funds i would choose the BSA against the Royal Enfield.
It could be a great ride as soon as you get rid of all this Euro-5 or -6 restrictions. Ditch the Cat, get a more freeflowing exhaust and a larger trottle-body and then get the software to match. Let the fun begin.

Just because you stick a BSA badge on the side does not make it a Goldie and Intact if it’s the style of the bike, is it any better than the W800 but if your interested in classic BSAs check out the BSA” thunderbolts” on E bay the prices may not be as hideous as you may think

These are beautiful bikes. I've never seen one up close here in Texas, but I'd like to see one. Make one in parallel, or vtwin. I think the extra bucks you'd pay would be worth it.

The interceptor has proved itself, bsa has a long way to go, poor marketing is already harming bsa, and mcn said it all really.

  • @frankmlchaelglasscock6539

It does not look a bad bike but the proof is in the riding then let's see how good it is

It is a beautiful bike So is the interceptor. At that stage I will go with the intercept or any other Royal Enfields Because the aftermarket support. But it's too early to judge the Mahindra group I'm sure they'll be good. Good luck BSA!!

The Interceptors motor looks more like a BSA Power Egg, at least from the right side view.

Oh dear, that bloody radiator, ever time I see it makes me cringe 😳 also I'd think that at that size it's a bit prone to damage, so a guard will be needed

I wish our speed breakers in India were designed in UK. This bike won't clear are notorious potholes and speed breakers. And the price is way over the top! Like the other Mahindra bikes Mojo and Jawa it will fail in India. At GBP 6000 there are much better option available in India. The Interceptor is just over GBP 3000 and at the price of the Goldstar, Triumph, Suzuki and Kawasaki have some great options.

Tank size and radiator are a downside plus dealerships/newness. Also the stock sound?
However time will tell. Jury still out for me. It does look great though!

Mahinda not a name that inspires when in comes to quality products. And how do they end up making a single cylinder bike so heavy ? it's the same as my Z900RS and that's a 4 with twin disks. Answers on a postcard to:- It's not a bsa it's a fat mahinda some were in India

How can you say ' now under the owndership og the Mahindra Group ' ? This is a Mahindra 650 - nothing to do with BSA other than fancy tank badges and marketing bollocks . Reall shame here ,opportunity wasted .
