The monster is amazing, but can we talk about how crazy good the cinematography is?
Bill is so underrated. He makes crazy good videos.
Thanks for noticing!
agreed, I'm not interested in the Halloween fuss (never a thing in southern Europe before globalization) but I wanted to see the video editing
No, you may NOT talk about the amazing cinematography 😡😡😡😤
The Tale of the Mound was very excellent, I grew many tiny mounds all over myself while listening to that section (goosebumps)
How can you make goosebumps sound so disgusting?
@@BillMakingStuff he just... can?
That monster is sooo good and love their back story! And that intro turned out so damn great! So sorry for the camera, it's like a dagger to the heart
it is... but this comment makes it feel slightly less... stabby. Thanks mate!
I'm really happy with your monster too Bill. Sorry about the camera, I shed a tear for it as well. I realize tears arent worth much, but that's all I got.
Alright, cool. Cya around.
Thank you mate!
I'm a super fan of the forest vibes. 🙌 This monster is definitely in my top 5 favorites in this bash.
Awesome build Bill. Reminds me of something Jim Henson might make for Dark Crystal or Labyrinth
6:30 is me, when my pizza is just not getting delivered...and I'm waiting...and waiting.......and waiting.
Glad to see production and cinematography evolving.
Anyone else find it funny how he says the drawing doesn't have to be perfect and 10 seconds later he has a drawing that is so detailed its 10 times better than all my best drawings combined.
Great work, Bill. If the camera can't be repaired, make a zombie robot out of it. Kind of an homage to a faithful... tool, I guess.
The intro title brainwashed me! 😂 we both drew the black flower and moon card! Didn’t notice that before. Thanks for collabn’! love your MOUND monster
Thanks miss mini, looking forward to watching yours too!
I love the single leaf on the apple
You really put blood, sweat and tears into this build which really paid off with how awesome it turned out.
thanks
The Mound is so cool, I can only imagine how long it took to make, never mind the planning and editing of the filming as well!
Giving something like this a backstory really brings an entirely new dimension to it. I love how this Mound turned out. Seeing your creative process from start to finish is very intriguing. I'm more of a Lego guy myself but ever since I've started watching your videos I've been eying plastic scrap around the house, so it's likely that a new hobby is on the horizon.
I really liked the part when Bill maked stuff
Your imagination knows no bounds
It's always nice to see someone else struggle with sculpy clay🙂🙃🙃 I finally feel seen.
This muddy birb boi is badass as usual, great work !!
1:42 Bill just sitting there...menacingly
this
man
is
genius
period.
I love The Thing title effect, nice 👌🏻 I liked the build as well. Thanks.
This is possibly my favourite one in monster bash 3.
Great fun with the card idea.
Cool way to brainstorm via a friend collective.
I love how much extra thought and effort you put into your vids, Bill - I hope it's some comfort that your camera gave its life in service of adventure (and insufficiently stabilised mounts) - live and learn, right? Semi-forced optimism - I'm sure it's super frustrating
The best.
Bill: I’m not really a sculptor.
*creates masterpiece*
Love that you just creepily wrote dad in the intro, also idk if anyone has said this but the sketchy letter animations always make me think I’m about to watch salad fingers
I absolutely love the build. The Lore is super original as well. I would be interested in seeing a full episode which is hand drawn and just a story about another element of your World. The way you presented it in this episode was really gripping and i think a LOT of Folks would enjoy a longer one. 🤝👍
The candy trap card reminds me of a angler fish... a inviting lure attracting unsuspecting victims to their demise.
Title Card 10/10
One of my favorite builds
Like this verrrry much! Story and drawings tooo
Thank you for including the apple! I was worried there for a minute! 😅
The texture made it
I absolutely adore your art style
I adore this monster
Absolutely superb
Love The Thing title of Bill Making Stuff : D
The Mound Monster is fantastic!
looks like a shambling mound from D&D cool job
This entire episode is great. The music, the theme, the build (and the story, that's an awesome origin for the Mound). The fun spooky stop motion, when it comes to life! Also, swinging it so that the Halloween Episode is number 31 is great. As well as calling the Sculpey bakes 'Save Points'. That's a fantastic way to think of it.
Thank you very much
Awesome. And that extra footage. Your level of creativity is off the charts
Wow Trapdoor, showing your age there.
"BERK, FEED ME!"
"Oh Globits"
The mound is seriously cool! I don't think I'll bother with the other builder's videos after seeing the preview here....
Wow. That's a very cool monster. Nice job on the clods.
Extremely cool monster and story. Love it!
gives me a princess mononoke vibe
Great build, your mound monster is very cool-looking; definite swamp thing vibes. Hopefully your curses end after the completion of this mash challenge
ahhh! TITLE CARD! love the thing ref :)
The build is amazing and made all the better by what is honestly a great origin story. I think we need a BMS comic series.
It was fun making that part
Bill, I love all your dad joke because i never heard of it and it fun
Cool monster with cool backstory!
This is more professional than stuff I used to watch on the BBC as a kid. This is finger mouse levels of production value!
20:15 :)
The spooky title card, the spooky rendition of the music, the awesome sculpture backstory!? Also love the newer addition of Bonus Bill, but I'm sorry about your camera!! This video turned out so good with phenomenal sound design, editing, and jokes as always. Happy Halloween Bill! Hope you're cursed with a new camera so you will stop all that crying.
Glad you appreciate it
Cricket teams killin it.... got that goin for ya....
There’s a complete RPG adventure implied here, with backstory and boss encounter to borrow
The intro is amazing, Bill!
Edit: the whole editing is amazing! Loved the animation story telling of The Mound 👌🏼
Excellent. Possibly the best thing I've seen you build.
Thanks
Super points for mentioning The Trap Door!
There's something down there
@@BillMakingStuff like yer Dad.
At some point CZcams decided I no longer liked miniatures crafting stuff so I'm just now getting to enjoy Monster Bash 3. I'm going through the playlist and just thought, "Man, I wish the Bead-Bot guy had done one." When...
I also have a cold because my son also coughs directly into my mouth. My back hurts too. Thanks for reminding me Bill.
Absolutely gorgeous monster Bill, thanks for the tip with the comb, wouldn't have thought of that. Love all the little creative tricks you pepper throughout your builds.
Great work, impressed you resisted finding a way to make it rusty! 😉
I just realized that this could be Bill and Ted's Exellent adventure 😅 (even though Ted is dead)
That mouth reminds me of the graboids' mouths' from the movie Tremors. Good job!
So good I watched it twice. Loving the new camera!
Great build and wonderful back story. I always have a back story playing in my head when I'm creating. It's so helpful w when your trying to visualize your creation.
Recently found this channel from recommendations from Studson. I can't believe I didn't know about it earlier, you're such a great builder! I love the story about the Mound :)
Edit: Oh and your illustrations are top-notch!
I dropped my phone on my face at the scare in the beginning, so thanks Bill 😂
Your sketches are amazing
It is sooooooooooo coooooooool!!!
damn the stop motion sequences go hard, this guy rules
Thanks
That is amazing looking sculpt! Epic stuff! Keep up the good work!
Nice one Bill, another epic
Bill, you're a bloody genius ...
Thanks
Great monster! I love the beak and the moss and the roots and the eye and the apple. But mostly I love the historical documentary. Beautifully done.
before you even mentioned it in the video i wanted to comment on the The Thing title card reference, ha ha. highly appreciated it :P
He could be a character from swamp thing, sweet
Like the monster and really liked The Thing intro - get well soon
ooh, you gave me a startle there.
I love the "The Thing" references Bill! it's my favourite movie ever and this is my favourite build yet!
Excellent build!
I love Dead Ted and I love roots. So, great video.
Awesome brilliant again.
I sympathise with the cold, 3 weeks for me so far! Wonderful mud monster though, made my day :)
Still got it
Oh. Another notification I didn't get.. what's uup. This is awesome already
Almonds Joys have nuts, MOUNDS don't.
Hey ooh
Yes
Looks really good dude! 👍 I really like the aesthetic you get from your build process!
I can't put my finger on why, but something about how this video is shot and lit and edited reminds me of Bump In The Night with Mr. Bumpy, I love it
You describing yourself as "new to sculpting" and then managing to create THIS masterpiece has me turning into Jeff Winger in the pottery episode of Community, I think you're a ringer, it's just too good
I'm sorry you have a cold you can't shake, I hope you start to feel better very soon!
OH GEEZE 23:10 actually did jump scare me
I have dabbled in sculpting... maybe a bit of a Jeff Winger pottery epiaode going on.
Thanks for watching... I'm gonna watch your monsterbash today and looking forward to it.
🎵 Don't you open that trap doooor, Cuz Bills crafting up there!🎵
Duh dum duh dum!
Pouring one out for your camera Bill. Also great work with the story for your monster!
Thank you friend
my family always did overly complicated homemade costumes when I was a kid! Pretty much how I learned to read a sewing pattern was halloween costumes.
Another awesome video Bill
livin' la vida loca
This build turned out great!
9:35 I have that same tool and it's my favorite.
I just started sculpting with Monster Clay for the first time this past week. (It doesn't cure, you've gotta make silicone molds to replicate with plaster, resin, silver-metal clay, etc.) and I'm in love... it's the best sculpting medium I've ever worked with... it smooths out so fine, no residue on your hands (that's why i can't deal with sculpey or fimo), and depending on the temperature it's at it can be as hard as a rock, or a pour-able liquid.. it's so easy to make something look fantastically complicated yet so easy to shape and form.
Anyway, I feel like even though you were saying here that you don't have much sculpting experience that you would create the coolest isht!!! Everything you draw and create out of trash is so cool!
16:32 pre-crustard right there!
p.s. how do you make crustard? ;P
Hope you feel better soon Bill. Your monster is amazing. :)
Thanks
Yer totally Awesome mate🎉😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I will use the idea of your mound in one of my D&D games. good back story
Halloween was pretty tame around my parts of the east coast this year.
