What players would you have total confidence would still be at Manchester United in 2026 after 2 summer transfer windows? We can't just look at this summer, we've got to think ahead because that is what INEOS will be doing. Leave your DEFINITE, MAYBE and NO lists in the comments!
Rashford definitely needs to go along with Fernandes. BF just gives the ball away far too much than he delivers assists or goals; he just impacts the game negatively, especially when things get tough
Keeping Bruno….? He is one of the reasons our midfield gets dominated game after game
bruno is our worst midfielder sell him and rashford
@@dingapotamuss6213 - 100% get rid of any players with bad attitude as its like having a bad apple in the club, who can bring down others.
If Martinez stays fit, he will be number 1 on the team sheet
I think Onana is def here in 2 years. He’s been good, much better than people give him credit for. He’ll improve next season
What are you smoking
He’s been good in the last few games but he needs to do it for longer
@@civildiscourse7626you didn't see him before he came to united? He's beeeeeen doing it.
@@civildiscourse7626he's been good for the past 6-7 years
Once ten Hag get sacked he will leave with Onana and Antony
The only thing i would change is Dalot into definitely
I agree
Me too.
Agreed
I'd put Rashford on Go
Dalot and amad should be definite and pellistri and gore should be maybe....
@4:42 Diogo Dalot is a definite.
I agree too
At worst dalot becomes reserve for both fullback roles. Agree he stays as definite
We gotta sell bro. He is not good
@@jigglebiggle2799 your not good
Ah, come on, Dalot is a 100% keep!
He's bang average imo.
Suspect defensively and for a guy who's labelled as attacking, his actual goals and assists returns after 6 years at United is shocking.
I like AWB better but would keep Dalot at the number 2 RB (and shop for a #1 RB) only because one has better availability
What you're in cloud Cuckoo land
Dalot has been brilliant.
I sell him
Can you do a similar video but with potential signing we are linked to and reasons why TO sign and NOT to sign? 👍🏻 great video!!
That's a good idea to have options of
Huge impact
Slow impact
Just a signing🤣
this is sad. but most of united fans have this mentality shown by how many likes this has. signings and signings. i genuinely think we have the most basic and stupid fans in the world
@@steve13191 people and their opinins 🤫
The biggest fear I have right now is that the club makes this transformation too quickly. We have seen in Chelsea the problems of making so many changes and so even if 18 players need to leave, if we do that, and change manager, the club will go down further, and the new signings made will become the new Mudryk/Enzo... regardless of their actual quality. Something to bare in mind for those of you wanting to clean house asap.
I feel the same way. Hopefully those guys in charge of the change can make it thoughtfully and with a longterm vision! I am excited to see it start happening tbh
I disagree same old season after season, Maguire Shaw Rashford Bruno Lindelof the list goes on, only Mainoo Garnacho and Hojland should be part of the future
FFP will make sure that we don't.
@@richyclubsport5155 noone is diasgreeing with that, but if everyone goes, then it doesn't matter whether we bring in the fifa toty as the new players won't have anyone in the dressing room with experience at the club, and three teenagers wont cut it either. imo we should keep maguire and evans for a while as bench players.
Chelsea is run and owned by clowns, looks like INEOS know what theyre doing so far
I'd sell rashford in a heartbeat
Honestly
💯 concur
For sure
Rashfird should be at no. This rebuild might happen 2 years after Ragnick said it should and some fans disagreed with him. Now what ?
Indeed, and the Ten Hag pushed him out the club and we started making deals like Mount and Antony 💀
Ragnick had the foresight.. but probably lacked the PR skills to push his ideas across
Agree 100% Bruno could be in the maybe for me though
Bruno seems to me like a great player that still cant reach his full potential because of the influence of the environment and the team around him. Maybe he has too much responsibility.
No he's just a terrible player with barely any positive traits. The no10 that can't dribble, carry the ball receive the ball and has no athleticism who constantly gives away the ball.
@@adhammp6885I agree
@@randperson7692A nr 10 doesn't need athletism lol. He needs to have good vision, passing and shooting most of all. Traits which Bruno have. I agree that carrying the ball starts to be more important now though, and he's not very good at it, because he lacks pace and composure. Not really a player for the future.
@@Redvil01he also needs a brain and be cultured in posession- something Bruno lacks
The biggest issue some people tend to have with Bruno is that he complains a lot, yet the most successful captain we've ever had was Roy Keane- a man who could start an argument in an empty room.
Rashford is definitely borderline but my hunch is that he'll still be here in a couple of years time. The fact there's so few players you could confidently say will still be here speaks volumes for how much money we've wasted since Sir Alex retired
So if you’re saying 6 players are definite staying… how the hell do you expect this manager to build an identity with these players THIS SEASON? 80% of these players shouldn’t even be at Man U full stop, let alone build an identity.
Hi Sam. Did you have your op yet ? Feel for you. I've had kidney cancer. Now I have heart failure. Never rains but it pours, right. The team isn't helping, lol ! Can't help but agree. Shocking list though it is. Hope your recovery goes well mate
Wishing you well brother, cheers from Canada 🇨🇦🍁
Wishing you well bro, God speed.
@@miles3379 Thanks Miles, appreciate it
well soon lad
Only ones I think have to stay are, hojilund, garnacho, mainoo and Martinez. I generally wouldn't care if every other player went and where replaced
I pretty much agree with most of this to be honest. The only change I’d probably make is if we can keep varane for another year or two but get his contract down to £200k (he’s currently on £340k) and then do the same for Casemiro, get his wage down to £200k (from £350k) but renegotiate it so that it’s not a new contract, it’s just until the end of his current contract. I feel keeping Casemiro as someone who can mentor Kobbie would be huge
Great content. I agree with the list except for Hannibal, i see him as a maybe with high potential. My hope is that the team that will be around the players can really improve and help those in the Maybe list reach their top level. We need it, otherwise would need to make like 15 signings lol
Great video! I think some of the best starting 11 we have now will still be in the squad in 2026 but will be squad players rather than starters. As you correctly said in the video many of the squad players we have now will be long gone - hopefully for £££
Agree with it! Spot on!
My definites are Dalot, Mainoo, Garnacho, Rasmus and Martinez. Maybes are Bruno, Mount, Onana, Shaw, *Kambwala. The nos is everyone I have not listed here.
Get rid of rashford
First Eleven, not sure of Onana. But Shaw, Dalot, Bruno, Rashford, Hojlund will be there. Garnacho will start again as Rashford backup unless he’s still underperform like this year.
For first eleven we will need World class right wing, Centre Mid maybe 2 and CB. If we can got Frimpong/Dumfries to replace AWB will be a great addition.
For left back it becoming difficult for us since Malacia, Shaw keep injured. Maybe need another one.
My choice;
1. Backup Striker - either young or old one (Tel/Morata/Gimenez/Vhalovic)
2. Right Winger - Raphinha/Olise/Sane
3. Def Mid - Neves/Palacios/Douglas Luiz
4. Centre Mid - De Jong/Paqueta/Koopmeiner
5. Centre back - Scalvini/De Ligt/Silva/Inacio
6. Wing Back - Frimpong/Dumfries, for left back Gutierrez or go for Theo Hernandez 😂
800 million for 6 players incoming….
That's intense...and I basically agree with you.
Only change I'd make is putting Dalot in definite but I agree with everything else
Nice video Sam! I have different opinion only on Dalot I think he will be here. I’ll put him in the first list
Really really interesting episode, Sam❤ love this
I agree with majority of your list here, my only changes would be Onana to Def, Rashford to Drf but agree with your PSG call here, Fernandez to Maybe and Antony to Maybe as well.
Personally think he could have a proper adaptation and find his best form to carry on. Fernandez, mainly cos the slot for a LB is open now, Onana because with a proper stable defence we all know the kind of GK he really can be.
Too much turmoil at the moment to really say but here's to hoping for the better
Correct. Spot on 👍
Spot on!
Dalot ,martinez (captain) hojlund, mainoo, garnacho , amad , kambwala , gore , everybody else is up for sale
Pretty much sums it up
Martinez has been an absolute disaster in the EPL. Try looking at the facts instead of promoting the hype. He wasn't even Ten Hag's preferred target. He wanted Timber.
@@jhpfdijtuiweruothe's bin injured alot and whenever he's played he's bin quite good. Seems like you've got something against him to call him a disaster. Either that or you've bin drinking a lot lately.
@@HeroesofHeaven. Yes, he has ALSO been injured a lot, which is another reason why he has been an absolute disaster.
He has NOT been "quite good" whenever he played. He is factually one of the worst CBs to ever play for the club. FOUR to Brentford. SIX to City, THREE to Arsenal, TWO at home to a managerless Leeds, an own goal against Spurs, and SEVEN against LFC in the most humiliating defeat in the club's history. I could go on...
You are living in fantasy land.
@@HeroesofHeaven. Something against him? Drinking? Desperate playground insults. I am politely sharing undeniable facts about the guy. Please continue to deny the factual reality with your meltdown feelings >>>
It's abit premature to think of who'll be here after the summer going into next season cos I honestly believe majority of this squad I'd easily get rid of but unfortunately it doesn't work like that. The only 100% ones I'd keep are Martinez, Mainoo, Hojlund, Garnacho, Dalot, Gore, Amad, Kambwala. The likes of Onana, Bayindir & Mount are maybes for me. The rest can all be put up for sale far as I'm concerned
Bruno is nearing 30, and has been poor despite being a constant in the side, and stylistically is not for cultured posession Ajax football, he’s also one of the most likely to get us the most money in a sale and free up big wages.
There’s nothing to suggest he’s worth keeping for a rebuild.
Get rid and stop being player FC
Yeah, let the delusional fans know
Largely agree but I would keep Onana, Shaw, McT and Greenwood.
Same here, would keep Onana.
Greenwood not welcome
Realistically speaking the selling of the players mentioned should occur by the middle of July so that the manager can work with players that he wants. The same goes for incomings as getting 75% of players you want by then is key. Unfortunately, United haven't acted decisively in the market for nearly two decades.
Remember that the likes of Berrarda and Wilcox dont start working until the week of July. Brailsford signed players like Barkley Ramsey Pépé and Schmeichel at Nice. Lastly, keep in mind the homegrown quota and that no matter who they sign or sell, they will never be able to satisfy every single fan or CZcamsr .
That's scary when you look at it, HR will need expansion to deal with all the P45's. Good vid Sam thanks. Could we maybe look at this again and bring in the talent from academy and add them to the definite list. Ones we hope will break through in the next two years? it may give us a first look at how we could be lining up in the future
Nice one Sam. It's not always easy to do this kind of video.
I'd disagree with both our keepers on Maybes, I think they both have high ceilings of success.
IN for me are: Mainoo, Onana, Garnacho, Hojlund, Martinez, Mount and Bayindir.
Maybes: I'd just add the Bruno from your IN list to my Maybe list. The rest are cool.
For Outs: I agree with the majority and could only say maybes for some (Although I want out😅)
Onana 👀 really; what improvements do you see him making, he doesn't have the basic goalkeeper fundamentals, we should cut our losses immediately.
@@doctorkhumalo7730 What are the basic goalkeeper fundamentals? Kindly list them...let's see if he does or not
Just the amount of players that def go, shows you your 'definite stay' is too strict if a category. For example, Dalot and Onana will def stay another 2 years. Not because they are world class, but because you cant buy 8 players a summer.
Rashford to PSG here we go !! Can't wait for this
Totally agree
You are right
Hannibal, gore, kambwala, greenwood, pellistri, shoretire,Fernandez suppose to be in the definite list because man utd will use them as the future of the club
My only concern is how do you move on a player on a huge salary? Antony for example? I am sure the squad would be alot more streamlined if we had the correct people working on transfers?
We do know. Plus no woodward
Just terminate their contract
In 3 years, excluding future transfers and youngster, our XI would have:
Onana, Lisandro, Diogo, Mainoo, Bruno, Alejandro, Rasmus.
We are short on 2 defenders and one each form midfield and forwards. Then there is the bench, who i dont know how we will fill them
Bruno and Onana gone
Personally I think Bruno and rashford need selling this summer
Thank you Sam It's a big clear out that's needed. - wow the money on wages £ 😮 we will save , and put back
In 2 funds TRANSFERS OF TOP QUALITY - we so need it's a long road ahead
Great video again my man ! MUFC
I agree 👌, also keep finding interesting that Rangnick's assessment of 10 or 11 players to be sold, is still relevant today. Let's hope new changes are coming 💪
I agree with the stay list.
Totally agree, except for Bayindir. I can't shake the feeling that guy might actually be better than Onana.
I agree with most of that list.
I mostly agree with your list, though I'll have Mount under the 'Maybe' category as well due to his fitness, then Dalot under 'Definitely'.
I totally agree with you on Rashford...and I would sell him.
There is meant to be a new bonus system being more strict on the top earners on the basis they deliver the goods
My list is the same. Some of those Maybe (Shaw, McTom for example) stay simply because the No list is so big.
Pretty much agreed Sam, depressing list. I think it would be interesting to place players on a scale from 0-100 in terms of probabilities, to differentiate maybes like Dalot from Bayindr, and definite nos like Martial (0) from awb (20?).
I have joined your subscription
I am surprised about Dalot. I would have thought you would put Dalot in the definite.
How is Dalot on the maybe list? Without a doubt our most consistent player this season
I agree with most of them
I genuinely believe that if we don't get into the CL, which is highly likely at this point, this will force the ownership into the sale of Rashford, whereas with CL, it was still questionable... I'll be happy to move on from him personally. Time we took that money and reinvested.
abt how much money we wasted, we paid over 38 mil of the players MV this yr (the 3big signings) but last year it was 115mil over their market value. now ik transfers doesnt work that way but just see how much we have wasted the first, and i think the 3 bought this season has more future than 3 bought last season
I think Rashford is an interesting one. Academy player so selling really helps balance the books as does Greenwood and McTominay
This is me commenting before going deep into your video.
Players I feel would/should be out of Man Utd in (by) 2026 are the following:
Aytar
Heaton
Varane
Lindelof
Malacia
Wan Bissaka
Casemiro
Amad
Pellestri
Eriksen
Antony
Rashford
Martial
I make shore of it 😊
This is the ideal for moving players on but the reality is we can’t, wages are too high nobody will want our rejects and ones who do won’t pay wages they demand. Should we move them on yes will we and can we that’s another thing.
For me Bruno is a definite only if we buy another player for this role or use Mount. Bruno cries a lot, complains a lot, does not keep his composure. Definetely great player, definetely star of the new united but definetely not a player that we can say that he is perfect fit.
Agree
Yes on everything except MOUNT. It also depends who the manager is. If it's still ETH, then Onana will be there. I wish they would keep Greenwood, but I think you're right.
Agree with everything apart from two number tens in mount and bruno
Only mainoo, hojlund, garnacho and martinez.
Martinez has been useless in the EPL. His record is appalling. Our defence got better when Varane and Martinez went out injured last Spring. Fact. Nobody seems to actually watch the games. He was embarrassed by SEVEN goals in the most humiliating defeat of any club in English football history. So weird that everyone has just wiped this from memory
That was fun, and savage.
SUCH a disappointment with Sancho & Antony, but it seems clear: OMG the money!
Fernandez would be bad mistake to let go, but it does look like UTD are that stupid.
Greenwood I hope will be a huge monster star, but can't see him succeeding again in UK - that mud sticks, even if it is unjustified formally.
AWB a sure maybe, seeing as nobody can get past him if he decides they are not. Imo if he had a super recovery run ability, he would be a def for sure.
Amrabat - I keep getting the feeling that we are yet to see the true value. UTD wanted an instant saviour, but anybody can be nervous & need time while being used according to one's strengths in a team that is not so iffy.
Etc........
But I think that this is the only time I will spend a moment on these speculations; they are going to gather more and more time-distracting pace🙄
Fans of Onana and think he could do better. But if we are rich enough to spend , I don’t mind like city, changing goalkeeper consecutively for two seasons, buy until u get one really suits the club and style.
Only definites for me are Mainoo, Garnacho & Rasmus. Martinez of course but injuries need to be factored in.
Amad i like but he is not getting any chances, so we can't judge him.
The rest - wouldn’t shed any tears if they were moved on. Dalot in fairness has come on, but i still dont think he has the quality.
And if we are rebuilding, then we need to recruit the best as much as possible
I think the problem with players under 20 is that they experience burnout and become useless. This has been a common issue among Barcelona's players. Players like Pedri and Gavi won the Kopa Trophy, which is the equivalent to balloon d'or for young players. Nowadays, they struggle with injuries. I believe at least Mainoo and Garnacho shouldn't play more than 3 games per month to avoid these potential problems.
Love ur videos Sam. But I would have rather u done if u think they will be here or not. Theirs no anticipation when u stick them on a maybe
Agree with most, except Bruno and Mount. I think Bruno will go maybe even this summer and Mount will depend on playing time and ability in this team
It’s more about who stays than who goes. Who is staying? Hojlund, Garna, Amad(???), Mainoo, Lisandro (if he can be fit), Mount (if can stay fit), Dalot as back-up RB. After that some of our u21/18 grads will stay - Lacey, Amass, that Russian-heritage kid etc. first team will be totally gutted.
UNITED UNITED UNITED ❤ 1:07
Hi from Brazil mate, loving the channel. Is there any debate in England about United's medical department? There are a lot of injuries recently. We really need a profound overhaul of the team
From what I've heard.
- Gary O'Driscoll came in last year form Arsenal as head doctor and will have an elevated role and more control moving forward.
- Part of that will be staff changes as the senior physio has already left but that was already planned.
- INEOS will review and share medical resources and knowledge
- My personal opinion; I think there's only so much the medical department can do because these players play too many games and don't rest in the summer. Most of the league struggles with injuries as well so I don't think this is a United specific issue either
@@mzakaria10 Yes, I agree about the number of games and perhaps a more balanced group of players will help to rotate the team. For example Luke Shawn who just returned from injury and due to lack of options had to play a lot of minutes and got injured again
Dalot being here over awb would be an absolute crime. Dalot is so damn inconsistent and blows absolutely ass defensively, which could work somewhat as a winger, but as a right back i prefer somebody who can defend. Like their position intends.
It is not surprising at all. That is what an overhaul should mean.
FYI, only Saka and Marinelli were left over until now from he squad of Arsenal in 2019.
Sell Casemiro and secure Morten Hjulmand. The guy is an aggresive DM/MC with good technique also. Basically a better Casemiro.
Thought you were giving Hojlund a nickname 😅😂
Disagree on Shaw & Dalot. Difficult to replace Shaw he is that good;Dalot is improving.
Rashford will be here for many more years to come 🔰
Decent list the only ones i would disagree would be Onana, Dalot will definitely be in the squad in 26 and Shaw is definite NO for me
What I am concerned about is that our structure won't be in place just in time to significantly affect our summer transfer window. It's almost March and we have to start identifying our top targets and other 2nd-3rd choices. I really am more concerned about the outgoings rather than the incomings. Suppose we can get 4 more players in (minimum case scenario), am I right in feeling that it should be a CB, a CM (no.6/no.8), a backup ST and a proper winger (in this order)?
Also, I don't want us to spend more than £50M on multiple players. If we get money for Sancho & Greenwood, and hopefully someone goes to Saudi, we need to get 2-3 solid players in that £25-30M range rather than getting a player for £65-70M+, no expensive signings anymore please!! We can't get any signing wrong now!!
Martinez is the life of our defence Bruno is the life of our midfields and Hojlund is shaping up to be the life of our front we need leaders in this team
Mainoo, Hojlund and Garnacho the only ones in my definite column... two academy players that cost us nothing and one of Ten Hag's signings. Boy have we wasted a ridiculous amount of money!
We need centre back overhaul this summer. Lindelof Varane Maguire Evans need to go and the young cbs from our academy Fish & Bennett, i think..are they good enough!? We might keep 1 of those..i'm not sure
If MU gets an 80million bid for Rashford it’s a no brainer to sell. I think even at 60million you have to think long and hard about it too.
Thank you for pronouncing "Martinez" correctly (i.e., Mar-teen-ez not Martin Ez, as we hear too often).
Sancho, Martial, Erickson, Verane, Mactominey, Rasford, Maguire, pelistri, Amad, Amrabat, Lindelof, Hanibal all should be out coming season
I hardly ever agree with but with exception of Dalot ,and the maybe,s Amad, Gore, are pretty well unknow so there,s hope for those, good job..
Great video, perfectly demonstrates why ten Hag and previous managers have had such a bad time of it.
If Man U are going to keep Ten Hag then I think it is time to cash in on Bruno, if they can. He is a creative player but if they are moving to a more control based style of play then he gives the ball away far too much. They need someone more like Mainoo, creative but also manages the ball more effectively.
Stay: Martinez, Mainoo, Højlund.
Sell EVERYBODY ELSE and start over.
That list also depends on who the manager is in 2 years time, personally I don't think it will be Ming The Merciless.
My wish
Def: scalvini/ tah
Mid: alex scott
Att: Greenwood!!
The Problem with the current United Supporters is most are still living in the SAF years, I've supported United for 51 years I've seen Teams a lot worse than the current one, now I know this Team and Manager are pretty poor, as their is a lot more media scrutiny and money at stakes these days, but the bottom line is the Team has to be winning, that has been lost under the Glazers and several Managers, hopefully the new owner will get us going in the right direction again.
I think Onana, Dalot and youngsters like Kambwala could be moved to Definite. Rest of the list is bang on.
Sam Im 99% agree with you only different i would keep shoretire
players i'd keep in united for next 3 years would be hojlund, garnacho, mainoo, licha (no matter how big of a offer we get for them)
some players who i'm willing to keep but won't mind if we get a great offer would be dalot, bruno, onana, mount, pellistri, shaw, malacia, varane, amad, gore, bayindir, alvaro, kambwala
players who we should sell to make the ffp situation better would be rashford, eriksen, casemiro, awb, greenwood, McT
some players who need to go no matter what will be maguire, evans, lindelof, sancho, antony, martial, hannibal, vdb, heaton
haven't seen shoretire and williams while amrabat is a loan player so won't talk much about them
I would agree with 99% of your list with the exception of McTominay. I feel he'll still be there in two years.
