Nice truck, 🤓😎
Love it. Always wanted one of these and really like how you did the details.
Great build! Just subscribed so I can follow along.
Cool truck. So many details.
Thank you so much
Your "style" of building a truck results in such a clean rig is so cool. Another great build!
Thank you!
that rig is sick man !
Thank you
Looks just as cool & clean as it did in CRAWL a couple years ago.
Thank you!
You’re builds have inspired me so much I drove 4 hours to pick up a 8274 warn winch keep it up now I’m looking for a m 38 or fj40 to build
Awesome!
Awesome!
Thanks!
I think it’s great that you used the factory gm column shift handle and used it with the floor shifter
It would have been cooler if I could have gotten the factory tap shift and tow haul button to work. Getting a BCM back in the system for cruise, tap shift, etc has been a big challenge.
How have the landcuiser axles been taking the 40s. I saw RCVs in the front but have you beefed them up any other way. This gives off Icelandic build vibes. Not much articulation but can plow through snow and mud.
So far the axles have held up remarkably well. I think running the stock 4.10 gears and underdrive high range in the t-case helps. It has 300m RCV axles front and rear with 4340 drive flanges. The weak point currently seems to be the front drive flange studs. I did shear one side of alloy studs coming off the Rubicon, but they had been their 3 years. It has plenty of articulation for pretty much anything. The 80-series chassis can actually package just over a 10" travel shock front and rear stock. I did pull the front swaybar with the engine swap, but left the rear. I've never really wanted it to 'flex' more, and the chassis generally behaves really well if it does lift a tire......which is always better than tons of sloppy droop and no preload left on the springs.
Awesome rig! Where you at? Down by Cañon City or something?
Thanks! I am down in Durango
@@brennanmetcalf well son of a buck. We used to live down the road in Aztec! My first child was born in Durango! Wish I could move back to that area. Some day - Geoff
