I think we undervalue the scene when Connie try to fight blue diamond. I mean Connie came from just being a lonley girl who wanted a friend and was scared of a lot of things to jumping of a pourch, riding a lion, jumping of said lion to a giant powerful alien. That's character development

I actually just rewatched Reunited today, I always tear up when Garnet has Steven in her arms after the wedding and they talk about how much they needed something so positive to happen. I also love, love, *LOVE* how they matched up actual wedding rituals and metaphors in the episode. 😊💖😭⭐

If I had remembered the anniversary was coming up, I would have gotten married on the same day lol. I adore garnet, ruby and sapphire. It makes it better knowing my partner has a ruby birthstone while mine is Sapphire.
Another callback is Steven telling Connie his mindscape is a “psychic ghost” situation. Ronaldo said “psychic ghost powers activate” when faced by the Crystal Gems in Keep Beach City Weird.
10:05 well.. It could definitely be argued that Pearl and Kiki's friendship was formed in Beach Party, when Pearl and Kiki where on the same team and worked very well together.

I was slightly disappointed that Sapphire interrupted Steven during the wedding vows. I expected her version to be something like
"Do you take Ruby to be your wife, to have and to hold, in this and every potential future?"
I thought blue wasn’t using her depression waves because yellow was there. She’s been shown to affect her in the past and likely didn’t want her to be incapacitated since members of Stevens team were immune

Lapis returning was my fav highlight of the episode

It's honestly one of my favourite Episode. Even through i only got into the show Like 3 months ago, i have watched this one at least 3 times plus countless reactions. I just love quoting blue diamond's "you cannot fathom how much I've mourned. What THOUSANDS of years of GRIEF HAS DONE TO MD". And lazuli is just an all out badass, i love " for just one day let's only think about love" and sing it all the time... Just an all around awesone fucking Episode and really my personal favourite.

So Steven at some point told the new mayor just how dangerous they were. Making sure to get people away from them as FAST as possible. Everything in the episode in my opinion was flawless from start to finish. 😎

I think the reason blue didn't use her radiative powers on the second part of the fight is cause it just makes others feel the way she does, and she was more pissed instead of sad, so it would just make others pissed as well
Why did the yellow and blue show up anyway? From what I can tell the prime kindergarten is close enough for Steven to take a train there so that’s why they were so close. But why show up alone in such a rush when from yellows view the cluster wasn’t ready? Maybe a war with a rogue gem from the movie?
