FPV is one of the coolest hobbies I have ever been involved with. I too would recommend a simulator. You won't break anywhere near as many parts if you get comfortable on a simulator before flying. I used FPVFreerider

The difference between a pro and an amateur is that the pros quad cost more to repair when it crashes.
