This Turkish pide bread is shaped round and rather flat in form, and having a weave-like patterned crust, usually shaped with hands .
Ramazan pidesi is traditionally topped with sesame and nigella seeds.
It is traditionally served for the iftar and sahur meals during the holy month of Ramadan.
Bakeries all over Turkey provide this Ramazan flat bread, hot and fresh about an hour before evening prayer.

Hi Bincy love the recipe....can I use wheat flour instead of all purpose flour.
Yes you can.
As whole wheat flour contain more bran particles they may not rise as much as while we use plain flour. So If you are okay, you can start by adding some part of flour(30-50%) as plain flour as well.
