One of the most enlightened man in India on politics as he was involved directly in many important events that happened, like the Emergency period, the revival of BJP in 1990’s and emergence of Modi into national politics.
More North Indians should take time to listen to his talks and speeches as they will get many important information about Indian politics.

There are clear trends emerging from TN politics
1. Younger voters are no longer supporting DMK or AIDMK. Rather they are more with BJP or NTK
2. Post JJ , AIDMK losing its relevance. Their vote share will transfer to BJP
3. Corruption level is its peak in TN. Almost a parallel govt running to collect only commission.

AIADMK isn't loosing relevance. Just the soft hindutva vote bank that ADMK always had from MGR and Amma's times are now Going to BJP as it is projected to be relevant in the state. In The 40% vote bank of ADMK that Amma got in 2016 alone without any alliance, ADMK now is still retaining atleast 75% of that vote share. So since the national media isn't projecting the ADMK doesn't mean that they are irrelevant. Infact ADMK has always not been projected in national fray since they normally don't ally with national parties. Get some knowledge and speak.

60 years of anti-north, anti-Hindi Dravidian politics is deep rooted in villages with DMK vs ADMK.
The so called change parties (Vijaykanth, PMK, NTK etc), peaked around 7-10% votes. Except NTK, rest all went back to the Dravidian parties and the Change perished.
Whoever come with alternative narratives should stand alone for 6-10 years to build the grassroots.
In that journey, Annamalai created youth/honesty/commoner focussed cadres. Regardless of the outcome of 2024/2026 outcomes, BJP should back Annamalai to grow the party instead of looking for short-term gains or frequent change of leadership.
The previous BJP leaders didn’t have the charisma/guts to standup to the Dravidian forces earned the same corruption image!.
After the demise of late CM Jayalalitha, BJP missed the golden opportunity to project itself as better alternative. By backing ADMK, it shared the anti-incumbency in 2021. If not Annamalai, BJP would have continued as junior partner like Congress. Hope BJP continues to be in the driving seat without compromising with Dravidian parties again!

Tamilnadu is one of the top state in all aspects....if at all want something for betterment...pls request to have improvement in UP, Bihar....and other states
If not for the people of Bihar and UP, no construction work would be happening in Tamil Nadu. Even a restaurant like Adayar Ananda Bhavan has most of the staff coming from those states. Chennai and Coimbatore have gone downhill since a decade. Hyderabad and Bangalore has overtaken Chennai in every aspect. So, please do some homework before commenting.
It is very difficult for BJP to win all alone as the DMK / AIADMK are two sides of the same coin. BJP has to rely on local support and for a long time to come they have to align with one of the dravidian parties...But if BJP aligns with DMk in the furture then people would lose respect for BJP.....

Our imaginations differ from what happens actually. Many experienced observers told that there is no guarantee that crowds coming to the meetings in large numbers convert into votes. First, 72% votes polled reported and B J P jumped in joy. Later, straight away 3% down, they are in a gloomy mood feeling not sure. Unless you join with one of the Dravidian parties you will not be able to get on. It is a bitter truth. We can't say thumping the desk that B J P will come with flying colours.

Voters who were largely against DMK, ADMK or Congress plus fence sitters and who never voted have come out in large numbers in this election and voted in large numbers. This will benefit the BJP and its allies. Surprisingly the speaker speaks only about BJP but not the strength of the BJP allies who are too formidable.
