    I bought one back then.
    Didnt use mine for a year then put 2 gallons of rustoleum oil based paint for rot iron fence through it. A week later tub was still stained black when I painted fancy woodwork on a front porch. Pure white. Both jobs turned out perfect with no problems. I love it cuz its way less mess than an airless and does an awesome job.

    I am a professional painter. I have many professional spray guns such as Ani, Rongpeng, Wagner, Graco, Anest Iwata. This device comes in the same shape under different names. Mine is from Taiwan and I bought it on Amazon as an extra for painting window and door frames. Honestly, I have mixed feelings. This is a spray gun with an unusual shape and excellent balance. When we hold it with a full tank, we don't feel the weight at all. It is easy to use, sprays paint well, but unfortunately it has some drawbacks. The first problem - when unscrewing the metal nozzle housing, remember to keep the trigger pressed. The same must be done when screwing the housing onto the thread. The reason - the thin needle often unscrews and blocks the hole, preventing spraying. The second disadvantage is the most serious - the knob + mechanism regulating the needle movement is made of poor quality plastic. Too soft plastic and it works unintuitively, turns hard or gets stuck even when we approach the upper limit. This means that the device often does not spray paint at all when the trigger is pressed (the paint is always diluted). And a tip - When adjusting this knob, you cannot keep the trigger pressed. You can break the above mechanism

    Know this SO OFF TOPIC, but the entire time I’m watch this video.... I can’t stop staring at your “new” haircut, LoL. Looks very nice👍🏻
    Don’t think there’s anyone out there that likes this part of the job.... Cleaning the sprayers after a job is definitely no fun at all; & yes, the process has definitely been streamlined & made easier on the newer sprayers they’ve got out now. But cleaning a sprayer is still something that no one is gonna jump up & down saying “YES” my favorite part of the project.....cleaning out the sprayers 🤣

Wonder if you reach out to them if they'll hook you up with a unit just to do a video or something. Hey brother, new sub here, great channel man! Hey what's going on with your box fans? Guessing maybe an experiment from a prior video? 😏
    Anyway great idea, wish I would have thought to record myself doing similar stuff a few years back. Got into eviction, foreclosure, and private owned property cleanouts and haul aways and when you say it's like printing money you are 100 percent correct! Really your a hustler but in the original sense, not the definition that most use today. Basically your days consist of picking up money doing mainly jobs that most either don't think they can do, don't want to do, or even afraid to try..
    I was getting anywhere from 500 - 1500 per haul away depending on the job. Basically I would show up, empty the house of whatever contents the previous tenants left and haul it away to the dump. Perks were that whatever was left was mine. So I would typically get paid for the job, client would pay for the dump fees and or the dumpster if needed, then I would dump whatever trash metal or appliances at my storage unit until it filled up and get paid from the scrapyard, and then slot of times sell anything of value. So it paid 3 ways most of the time.
    Long (probably not so interesting) story later I taught myself online selling such as eBay and Amazon and is 95 percent of what I do now.
    Anyway if you see this just know you have a new fan and can't wait to see more of your videos . Very cool . Stay safe 👍👍

    2 questions for The Handyman or anybody else.
    A can of oil based Zinsser Cover Stain Primer exploded and got all over laminate flooring. What is the safe choice and the last resort solvents that will get it off the floor?
    I have kitchen cabinets with caked on grease that I need to prep for painting. Murphy’s Oil Soap and TSP was no where enough. What’s the next step up in degreasing?

  • @Mopardude
    @Mopardude Před 4 lety

    Lacquer thinner is basically acetone with a bunch of other chemicals added to it, usually mixed for a certain application. Like for example if you get your lacquer thinner at NAPA or some other automotive place that is more geared for automotive paints. Where as if you get it at a Sherwin Williams store that is going to be mixed more for acrylics I believe. Than I think general lacquer thinner you would buy at a hardware store is more mixed for cleaning plastic if I remember right. When was the cow on the third channel or is there a 4th channel I am missing?

      I’m having good luck with Aristoshield from Dunn-Edwards in semi-glass. It’s one of those water-based alkyd paints. Goes on really smoothly with the sprayer, it’s very hard, and doesn’t stay tacky like latex. I’ve done a built-in closet, a kitchen island, cabinets and doors with it. It’s only been a year, but so far so good.
