SDE3 is L4 not, L3. I am very sure he is talking only of savings on base salary. Total package (including bonus and stock grants) for L4 is much higher. His annual *savings* should not be much less than $120-$150k us dollars.

Bruh deos he save left for anything after tax and monthly expenses, considered 42% Tax and 4000 pers month expense then if a person has 120k base salary, his saving will be 120000*42%-4000*12=2400, 2400 left saving a year for a single person?

24% Federal, 10% State, 7.5% social security, Medicare & Medicaid 5%, Sales taxes 10% (Places with out state tax like Florida, Texas etc. The salaries are lower than west cost, however the property taxes are very high 3%+ the home & property costs are evaluated every year. Average home in Austin, Texas is $600k = 18k in property tax (same or more than CA state taxes for a person earning USD 100k ). Even the empty land property taxes are the same 3% on the appraised value of the land.
Say your home lot value is Rs 50,000 per sq.yd. you have 500 sq.yds. with property value of 2.5 cr. Sounds good right? Now imagine that you have to pay Rs 7,50,000 every year just on the land and if the value goes up, you have to pay more. That is what it feels like.
@@h-community Obviously you don't live in Texas, Or you have not read my comment properly - "however the property taxes are very high 3%+ the home & property costs are evaluated every year". In Texas there is no such thing as 600k property being evaluated at 250k. Depending on when you buy the property there is a homestead cap of max 10% increase each year. This is public information anyone can go to Travis county appraisal district and see.

Mujhe FAANGM mein placement chahiye , parents government job keliye force kar rahe hai aur fir keh rahe hein ki job security hai and kam kaam karna padega. Mere parents ko lagta hai ki private companies mein logon ko gadhon ki tarah mehnat karwaya jata hai. Unhe service based company and product based company mein difference nhi pata. Unhe lagta hai ki Infosys mein kaam karna and Google mein kaam karna same cheez hai . Kya karu koi batao plz .

Gaurav is wrong about H1B. H1B is 6 years(3 + 3) with extension. If your company does not file Green Card for you before 6 years and get I-140, then you have to go back to India for 1 year.
