1mm (1/16 inch) thick cardboard
About 80gsm and 160gsm white paper to print (about 20LB bond and 59 LB cover) for printing
Kraft paper or coloured paper that suits the colours of the pack (about 120-160gsm)
Strong tape
Double sided tape (strong): 3/8 inch (9mm)

Very fun project! The book, the box and the card with envelope. Great design of the papers and just a cute size. And wonderful that the book has the same size as the one from the other kit.
This is stunning! I have my grandmother's copy of Alice in Wonderland (it's over 80 years old) and this would be a lovely companion piece to that old and tattered book. Thank you for the tutorial!

This is a beautiful journal and I would love to be able to afford it. I will some of your other papers I have and make a journal.
I have bought this kit, now I have to get my printer to work again. Thank you for the lovely kits you make.
Love the attention to detail in the tutorial. Dont know if my printer will print the sizes of the journal
If you have a pc or laptop you can make it print any size you like 😄 in preferences on the printer menu you can change to different size papers, print to edges etc 🌼

Beautiful journal! You sold me on buying one, I will have to wait awhile. Didn’t think it was that much?-Ouch!
They take a long, long time to make and the products to make them aren’t cheap at all. I make journals, but I can’t grasp the actual journaling itself 🤷🏼♀️ Maybe I just have a boring life cutting & sticking, threading beads and bending wires 😄
I rarely go out for a few medical reasons and walking is very painful, I always have pain…so I wouldn’t have anything to write about 😄
You could make your own though, you can easily convert a notebook or spiral bound notebook 😄

if you will have the falling effect the big one should on the front and the smaller on the back...the deeper, the smaller the hole :-). Very beautiful project!!

Love the project/s!! I just bought the kit, love the embelishments :-) ! As I am a journal-making newbie... this will be a challenge, however this video will be invaluable guidance!! I'm thinking that I might use 230gsm paper for the box and book covers, do you think that will work?

A beautiful mega pack! I have just one thing to point out, the calendar pages are dated 2016 so not usable as a calendar for 2021 or 2022! However I shall adapt the pages for another use.
That might be another product, there are no calendars in this Project Pack :)

That’s odd, I have downloaded 3 files,
file number one entitled VDMPAL1653_1_hvaib7oy has 4items=clocks,misc,playing cards and tags. In misc file are 7files one marked calendar with 12 pages.

Some advice please. When I use glue to stick papers down on the cover I get wrinkles in the paper. Is that because I'm using too thin paper (80g) or too much glue, or both !!!!
Hi Rosie, I usually print my papers on 160gsm paper. Some glue sticks are indeed 'wetter' than others, but 80gsm paper is pretty thin to craft with. 😊
Those dots? you can make your own, any size, using Alene's tack it over and over. Also when gluing the envelope closed? i like to put a bead of glue on the edges of each side, then when you close it you know the edges are glued firmly. I hope you understand what i mean, you dont have to draw the line then.

How wide apart are the scores lines?
Do you think the cover instructions would work when using fabric? The inside would be covered with paper.
I haven't tried it, but it should work. I forsee maybe some issues with perhaps fabric bulking up in the corners, or bulking up under the inside paper cover. This depends on what type of fabric you use, of course :) You also need to use the right glue and make sure the glue doesn't seep through the fabric.
