BEAUTIFUL
Hello dear Yvonne,
Thank you so much for your kind words 😊
Happy crafting!
It is a beautiful set. ❤ it
that's a good tip using the slotted card to enable a gap xxx
i used to buy things like this all the time :)
I actually purchased this last week and made a journal for my son's 30th birthday -- I have two chronic conditions which if I get covid, that's the end of me, so the only other option I had was to order online, but he would have seen it -- he loved it. I printed out most of the pages on lightly tea dyed paper -- not only for the visual effect, but the texture and feel of the paper. The writing papers are wonderful, and I'm sure I'm going to use them in other projects, as well. I have several of your kits, and I went in and pulled pages from some of them, -- the "Memories" kit was fabulous with this. I didn't, of course, use the pages that had lace accents, but the ones where the papers were already aged and the pattern on the papers are FABULOUS, which I also used items from -- I don't know if this is the correct name, but it comes up in my downloads as "Ephemera" junk journal -- it is FILLED to the brim with wonderful, wonderful items and pages which merged seamlessly into the "dragon" journal. The journal has two signatures. The first was the "dragon" journal and then some print-outs from his favorite video games, and tv shows and movies, along with our pets who have crossed over the rainbow bridge, which I could only use those images because it was a gift and I was not selling it --- just to be on the safe side of copyright laws -- but I also added a couple of the gorgeous -- I don't know what name to give the blue background -- it's deeper than aqua, but not blue -- it's gorgeous -- I printed those particular pages on heavier-weight presentation paper so the ink would not bleed through -- honestly, gorgeous. It looks like something from a magazine, the images are that sharp and crisp, but soft and blended at the same time. The cost of the kit is more than fair, and I absolutely know I will combine it with other kits in the future. My son also loves looking at the night sky (probably because our dog seems to always have to go out after midnight or right before bed -- ha) -- but the scientific space craft, named Juno -- flew past both Neptune and now Jupiter , and Nasa posted the pics online, and they are gorgeous and fit seamlessly into this kit -- sorry this got so long, but I really, really love all of your work, but this kit is so special -- oh, I purchased your mega Christmas kit last year on sale with the full intention of making Christmas journals to sell -- I didn't make one !! But last year I sent out one signature little Christmas memory journals to friends, with a particular aim to those with small children, and they were a hit -- sorry, I digress, but your kits are fabulous !!! and it's obvious a lot of work goes into each one -- also, this is funny -- I'm old and have zero tech skills, so I asked him to set up my etsy account, and he did it under his own name, and so when you send out emails about alerts, which I'm always glad to see, they are addressed to him -- the life and times of a single mom !!! Again, sorry this is so long, but wonderful, fabulous kit -- I hope lots of people purchase it !!!!! My goal this year is to reactivate my little youtube craft channel 3rscraftingjtb -- jtb are my son's initials -- ha -- but I really do want to post pix of the journal to give others an idea that you can make them for boys, too -- my son will always be my "boy," even though he is now 30 -- it was such a scandal when I gave birth at only age 5 -- ha -- but I'll post a link -- have a great day, thanks again for this marvelous kit !!! Patricia
That would actually be another kit. The kit from this tutorial is not available yet, but it's even larger and fits the other kit very well ^^ How wonderful you're planning on reactivating your CZcams channel. I feel from your comment you really love love love crafting. Tip: if you like to start selling: just start. Figure out what you don't know yet, google how to do it and just start. It doesn't have to be perfect :) (I was FAR from perfect when I started VectoriaDesigns, oh dear).
What a beautiful gift to give. That really comes from the heart :)
I just left a local "Barnes and Noble" store and asked if them if it was possible to order it from them?! And NOTHING! They weren't given access to that site! How or what site did you use to order it from?
I'm "only familiar" with the name "pay pal" and other sites that one can use to order other stuff! Besides I'm "old fashion", I very much still rely on "snail mail", for my purchase orders and "money orders" as well, so please let me know, "what you used", so that I can purchase one for myself as well
You can also print your paper on an iron on transfer and iron it on the fabric!
Hello dear,
Great idea! 🤗
Thanks for sharing!
Happy crafting!
I just found your video when looking up Dragon Junk Journals! I am loving your video and have now subscribed to your channel! I really like the little piece of cardboard you use to put behind your circles to leave room for the string!! I am looking forward to seeing more of your wonderful creativity!!

Hello dear Roni,
Thank you so much for your kind words.
You are most welcome :)
Happy crafting!
Thank you for giving this type of content ☺️
😍😍😍 how Beautiful
Awesome, LOVE IT, lots of fun.
I’m thinking of printing the fabric bits onto printable canvas as an experiment. I bought some ‘just because’ years ago, but never used it 😊
You will love it, make sure you print with laser printer, inkjet will run, and hit it with iron, but, put cookie sheet paper between iron.
@@KellyDannemann thanks for the ‘hot’ tip😁
nossa voce esta de parabens todos seus trabalhos sao lindos. sou do Brasil comecei a te seguir ha 3 dias e ja estou amando
Really cool kit 😁🇨🇦
For those who don't have the Big Bite, punch the holes BEFORE assembling the cover - this is what I will do because then I KNOW they will be in line with each other!
Lol! I have to write things down and label stuff too!😄
Have you tried the iron method to remove wrinkles? It works great for decoupaging paper onto hard surfaces. You use parchment paper over the paper. It should work on fabric too
Hello dear Lottie,
Thank you so much for your suggestion.
Indeed, it should work :)
I know the recipe for how to make midge podge...
Half half of Elmer's glue and water
I really love how this one is starting out! I wish I'd known you'd be doing this series at Christmas when I was doing my shopping! I'd have tried to get the mega kit! I just bought your regular Dragon kit! Can it be modified to work with journal?
This is really nice Tinne. =^^=
Hi! Thank you for the tutorial.
Quick question please...after drying with the hair dryer, can you iron it out to dry it flat and fast?
Good question! No, I don't recommend doing that.
I bought this and am trying to make it. When I print out the sheet to put on the fabric it does not fill the page the way it does in the video. Am I supposed to crop the image or do something to printer settings? I think this will be beautiful if I can get it to print right. :) Sorry to bother you.
Hi when l printed my l had to put the printer on actual size.
Can you dry the things with a heattool?
Probably, but I didn't try it. To be honest, my heat tool scares me. Oh and if you use a heat tool, don't, I repeat, don't rub out the wrinkles like I do. You could burn yourself very hard.
Why did you not just print on the fabric? Do it all the time❤️❤️
You mean with an iron on sheet? Well, the end result would be a lot less sturdy. The cardstock actually helps a lot in making this a sturdy material.
@@vectoriadesigns use fabric with stabilizer or leather paper or stamperia fiber paper on it. The fabric is eye appealing, should try it sometime.
video beaucoup trop longue dommage
I'm sorry you think it's too long. I try to keep the videos as short as possible for these types of crafts.
