Finding Nemo is one of those movies that doesn't have one singular most emotional scene. There are many emotional moments all throughout, and they are all as powerful as the last.
I’ll never forget 8 year old me fast forwarding my VHS past the prologue for a while because I found it too frightening LOL Even all these years later, the prologue still makes me uneasy. Between the music, tension, and the shots of the barracuda. IMO one of the most terrifying openings in a Disney film. At least he got his desserts in Toy Story 4 LOL
One message I love from this film and the next one is Dory's ability to keep through despite her disabilities. Her "just keep swimming" is such a good message for kids with ADHD or problems with their mobility and capacity to socialise. She sets an amazing example on how never to let your disabilities affect you.
Finding Nemo was the absolute first Pixar movie I’ve ever watched as a kid and loved it. I’m 17 and the part where Nemo and his dad reunite still makes me cry

Which means Marlin is not a male clownfish in the inside he’s a female clownfish which explains how Marlin fight the barracuda to try help his wife Coral to save many children as she can.

I rewatched this film recently and I haven't since it in a while. And even though I didn't cry, I felt a little choked up near the end when nemo is on the net and Marlin apologies to him.

This is the movie that inspired my URL!! ; U ; And honestly, the first Pixar movie to come out after I decided I wanted to go into animation AND it involved another huge love of mine in marine life. It definitely shaped me in a way. ❤️❤️
I also bounce my head with the Pixar lamp EVERY TIME and it couldn't help but laugh in happiness when you did the same thing! And THEN you said "I feel like I have a moral obligation to do that" and I thought "oh wow I wish I could be best friends with this man"

man, i love finding nemo! its so good as an allegory for disability and not over-sheltering your kids. the whole movie really feels like it was made to teach parents a lesson more than the kids
