How to make a train diorama from scratch (for a model railroad and terrain)

I made this train diorama in a few days from scratch (between 6 and 8 hours per day of work). The material is polystyrene foam because is easy to work with it.
I start with a sandwich of this material and after that i carved all the relief.
The size of diorama is 80x90cm with approx. 50cm height.
I paint all the relief in different collor and i put small rocks on fresh paint.
After this I put the rails with embankment on my diorama and i finished the work with electrified power line.
I hope you like it, because my children are very pleasant.

It is a TT 12mm scale, between HO 16mm and N 9mm.
