Thank you. I can't remember whether the novel is canon or not, but I think that's where I got the protagonist's name from because it's not mentioned in-game, that I can remember.

Ok, update on Rage 2's MTs. It's confirmed that ALL the skins in the store ARE available in game with in game currency. Big apology to Bethesda, it seems in this case I was wrong, and they are practicing fairness to the consumer here, and I have never been happier to be wrong. Perhaps this is a good sign for future Bethesda titles. Anyway, I'm asshole enough to admit when I've been an asshole :), enjoying the Crap out of Rage 2, even more so now that I know there is no shenanigans going on with my wallet.

Sweet, came here to get the lowdown :) since I've played Rage 3 times but never finished it. My interest always wanes near the end, at least I now know I was close hehe. Tried once again to play Rage, but I have run out of time as 2 launches imminently, so this was very helpful. Always heard the ending was...polarizing, but I never wanted to spoil it for myself. I dunno, not that big of a deal that it is a cinematic sans boss fight, I assume that was the big controversy with the ending? Sure, boss fights usually make for the best climax points, but I guess the ending kind of fits for the narrative and plot as it stands in the first game. Good video mate, now onto the 2nd game ;)
I believe the controversy was that the ending was just corridor after corridor and no boss fight, so people felt it was boring, samey and had no payoff. Personally, I didn't mind. What I liked about RAGE was mowing down enemies. Have fun in Rage 2!

Has a few tiny bugs with dialogue lines not being said (highly recommend to folks to turn subtitles on hehe) but other than that I'm enjoying the hell out of it, super fun game. (only downside/negative) Bethesda has their greedy little fingers in it, there is day 1 store content (sure it's just skins, but skins are content too). If the skins were made after launch I wouldn't be annoyed by it, but they are there day 1, and the rage coins cost is ridiculous (on par with ESO crowns), basically it's roughly $5 for 1 lousy skin. I know the corporate supporters are ready to jump in to say, "companies have to make money," etc, but I wish this practice would stop. Sell me the entire game (skins and cosmetics included) and then make post launch content and I will happily buy that too. But don't remove content even when it's cosmetic and then sell it to me separately. Sorry to rant in your channel :) but the anti-consumer shit is really starting to irk me. Other than the shitty publisher, LOVING Rage 2, lots of fun :).

Thank you! I didn't play any of the mini-games aside from the ones you're forced to in order to progress the story. The game's so easy I never saw the need to grind resources (which is, I believe, what the mini-games are for).

If the game is backward compatibility for PS4 and Xbox One. It will be great hit. In additional, with a port for Nintendo Switch if anyone want to play the first game.
That next up there should've been a war between the Authority and the people that were rescued from the arcs. Rage 2 seems to have none of that though.

Great game, the only problems are lack of history, lore and bosses. Hope rage 2 will surpass those problems
The game was fun. But you're right. The story is thin and the bosses are basically non-existent (specially the "last boss").
