Is it possible for the injection pump gear to loose it's timing if only the pump is removed? We have one that has had it's pump rebuilt but now seems to have injection timing miles out and won't run... I thought the gear was captive and couldn't loose it's position?...
I doubt mine is done this way, I bought a new cylinder head but it still over heating though radiator is not blocked.thanks I have to save this in future cases.
Was trying to check the timing marks on my wl 2.5 turbo after pump service, first don't seem to see the timing dots on crank pulley and at the same time the marks on the gears are not lining up. What should i do? Coz .my engine was was vibrating a lot after someone rebuilt it.
Hi Thanks so much for the video it really help us alot 😊 Do you have a contact number will like to speak to you having some problems with my wl engine and the engineer is messing me around
Did you service oil pump or injector pump???. I hope it's an injector pump you mean , you were supposed to take your injector pump and injectors for service. Mostly rattling when idle is due to fuel starving, air in the fuel system or low fuel pressure or injector failure
So easily explained and demonstrated, many thanks friend, I have subscribed.
First person I've heard explain this in a way I can understand..simple really..
Thank you.
Video is so self explanatory,👍 just dismantling the engine block to send of for re-boring and then the fun of rebuilding begins.thanxs for the info
Please let them check the block, they tend to pull, also remember to replace the head bolts. i am glad you liked the video.

Hi, thank you so much for the video.
I need help thouggh, what is the process around 30°c before tdc. How is it included in the timing process
Life savior !
glad the video helped you.
We’re does the crank have to be set wen installing the gears
Geat content. What would couse a oil leak on the gear housing where the injector pump(diesel pump) connects to?
it has a oil seal on the pump, it could also leak on the nuts that hold the pump in place.
You try to give the video more brightness it will be great if you do

Hi, the dot that should be on the crank is lined up with the key way in the crank. that should be your starting point.
Is this a interference or non interference engine? Thanks.
I have stuck lockpin at the diesel pump gear how do I remove the gear without removing the pump
you would need to make yourself a small puller.
What happen all timing mark in position
wat to if there are no timing marks on the injection pump. help pls tnx..
are you talking about the gear at the back or the pulley for the cam belt?
yes at d back idid not put marks at d back of d pulley i tink its twisted n den i got lost.. i can not start my engine😩😩
timings marks are lined up ok, but not the pump gear, how can I line it up?
Timings marks are lined up from tdc to camshaft but not the pump gear, how can I line it up?
What if the crank gears don’t have marks
John thanks for watching my videos, please look 54 seconds into the video. You will see the marked tooth are in line of the middle of the key way
