I don't know how you mean when you say similar but it sure isn't in the build. The post is built like a tank and the ocean is built like a bargain. Don't get me wrong I like the looks of an ocean but they are almost an entry level boat of this size
@@michaelkeenan9526 They are 2 cycle Detroit engines they all smoked on start up even brand new and smoked considerably worse in cold weather, so the smoke was to be expected

They said it hadn't been started for a while..take it for a run..1800 for an hour, NO smoke at ALL..
Detroits always smoke when starting . Especially 671's
no they don't. at this temperature (warm enough for shorts) mine don't smoke at all.
Post is very similar to the Ocean Yacht's ..Even sounds like 671 Detroit's 2cy Diesel.

Why all the smoke, was the boat not being used?
Diesels will smoke white Unburned fuel till warmed up. they run on compression and Heat. very normal
Only the new common rail, diesels run smokeless from the start.
