I just got my praise & prayer inspired bible…my 1st journaling bible & by NO means am I an artist but I got this even though I wish it could be a word for word translation but I’ll be using my iPad to study with this book (NLT) . I got this to change up my study habits..I love color & needed something more to enter act with me meditating on God Words so this is me changing bible habits so it doesn’t get stale or boring ..I find that changing study techniques can be good through different ways of seeing through scripture
I got the inspire Bible. A sister from Rhode Island sent it from me here in the philippines. she soo kind for doing that. I cannot wait to used it, best Christmas present ever

I have been reading it and it brings me such peace. I have been to afraid to color or write in it, even though that is why I bought this particular bible LOL. Im a new Christian and have a very bad memory so remembering scripture is quite hard for me so I bought exactly the same Journalling Bible and also the complete guide to Bible Journalling book. I've just started with mine and I must say this Bible that already has a lot of the pictures and script in the margins is absolutely perfect for me. I would definitely recommend these to anybody wanting to Bible Journal. They are perfect for being able to remember scripture. I also bought a set of Bible highlighters which are also from Amazon they are Studio Series Bible Highlighters and they are like a smooth crayon style and they are really goo. They don't bleed through but leave a slight shadow.

Try out your markers, pens, etc. on your index, table of contents, or concordance pages. That way you can check for bleed-through without messing up any of the "real" Bible pages.

I think you are referring to Zentangles by Joane Fink. She did the one Bible Journaling book that I reviewed. If you look her up on the internet or click the link I provided in the video, you will find the book. She is very good, and I love the way she doodles! TFS, Amanda

observation: where you color in the bible I think is cardstock o thicker papar than actually the bible pages are. That is why did not bleed through. I would like to see you using those markers in the actual bible pages wuthout preparing the page to see if for real don't bleed through. thanks.

Hi Nancy! I'm not sure.....I know some people add Tip-ins to their pages which is basically a card or another paper on top of the page and adhere it with washi tape on one side only. So, when you look at the page, you see the card, but you can lift it up and see what's beneath it. TFS, Amanda
Hi! I don’t think there is a specific way to use the transparency paper but it’s meant to give another medium to add to your art. So you could decoupage them onto a page and when dry they should hold paint or pastels. You can photo copy them onto sticker paper or use under tracing paper. The ideas are endless. TFS, Amanda
Why are you coloring over the lords word the Bible is to read and study I love that your coloring the side but not the whole page how are u going to ready that with it all cover ????

Some ladies have suggested Eugene Peterson’s canvas Bible. Peterson does not believe homosexuality is s sin. He wrote his own Bible for his congregation . A Binle written by a man who decides what to write is not inspired by the Holy Spirit. Pass on... ✝️

FYI... the books of the Bible are alittle different in Catholic Bibles.
That said, I still love this Journaling Bible !
