  • Doodlebug minibike gets a Juggernaut super 30 series driver/Tillotson 212
    Installed a Juggernaut torque converter on the Doodlebug/Baja racer minibike with a Tillotson 212. Did some 0 to 30 MPH snd top speed runs to compare the Juggernaut/ torque converter to a standard 15 tooth Max-torque clutch.

    So I am new to the mini bike scene and I'm trying to find the best setup for my bike as far as Street use, I know torque converters are extremely popular however I see most people who do drag racing go straight chain no jackshaft or Torque converter.
    So my question is what are the benefits of straight-chain as well as the disadvantages?

    • @Black66
      @Black66  Před 3 lety +1

      I think the advantages of a straight chain are less moving parts and Easier to manage at take off . The power doesn’t come on all at once like with a torque converter . So you can have a heavily built engine and still be able to manage it taking off. Myself I like the Chain set up better for a minibike . Check out my Coleman bike videos . I put a 212 on a cc100x . That bike is fun and pretty fast with a simple clutch set up .
