- Hugo was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in 2022. In a now-viral video, he said he hoped to leave his daughters a gift for their future weddings -- and Tim McGraw helped him make it happen.

This hits home. My daughter died from cancer 18 years ago. She had an almost 4 year old son. By the time she started trying to sign cards and write notes for his future self, she could barely hold a pen. She waited too long. It was heartbreaking.
This amazing young father is obviously living his life for the future of his daughters. It's great that he has the vitality to do these types of things in anticipation of their future lives.

I'm not dying, yet we die a little everyday. For the last year and 3 months I held on to your songs. I felt like I was dying, I loss people I loved and was took off a medicine that controlled my body. I love all your songs, Faith's songs and would love to me you all. Music kept me alive on days I didn't think I was going to make it. I've always wanted to make a difference, and I have so many dreams, most for other people. I was told I had 7 months to live as the doctor's thought I had a glioblastoma. They were wrong. My tumor was sent to the Mayo Clinic and they said I had a high grade level 3 astro cytoma. I was able to have radiation and Chemo. And that was 7 years ago now. I was able to see my grandson be born. 😊❤ I am truly blessed. 🎉
