- In this video Corin comes back to a silver birch bonsai that has featured in previous videos here on the channel. Corin trims back the bonsai before moving on to a larger specimen tree.
Both trees have old bark and really show of the beauty off the silver birch bark.

Birch are tricky. They don't heal so well after major cuts. Important to develop correctly from the beginning. They seem to like a lot of water.
so glad to see you back. Love your suntan. I cannot believe the temps you are getting back home. Considering moving back home we have not had any decent weather here since the bushfires in 2019.

It's really feel nice to see you back and active.
I'm impressed. I can't keep a silver birch alive around here (NE U.S. Zone 6A). They grow naturally all over the place and I keep finding really nice starts. I easily get them out of the ground without much root damage and into a training pot. But even with minor bare minimum pruning, it starts dying back and then eventually dies.
Beautiful tree's and it's nice to have good growth , i love tree's that produce this and it gives you plenty of enjoyment working on them . Looking forward to the Bonsai bash and will definatly be attending!!
