Creating control voltages for my synthesizer using a touchscreen and Arduino

Basic setup where a touchscreen is connected to an arduino.
The Arduino nano reads the position (x and y) of the touch position and sends this to a quad 16 bit DAC and creates a gate when touch is detected.
