    I think the third combo should be u/b+3: AOP U/F **3** instead of U/F **4*, uf4 out of aop is the butterfly kick thing

    Thank you for the practical combos. Most of the complex stuff people are posting for Ling is very finnicky or inconsistent.

    (Writting my message i realised the title of the video "beginer combos" so yeahim still gonna share my finding but yeah my combno is more tight to execute and the one in this video are realy easy and yet so far seems nearly optimal damage anyway)
    Thanks for the early video, it help going faster to learn the new routes.
    You have the possiblities to skeeze a bit more damage in many of those combo for exemple
    Yours 3:31
    CH ff4 HYP 3+4 U/B+4 T! f2 f3.1 RDS 1 2
    dmg 72
    (Oh slight note, it apparently doesnt work against xiaoyu, and seems there a bit of combo that doesnt work against herself...)
    Mine
    CF ff4 HYP 3+4 ub3 AOP uf n 4 T! ff f2 f2 1B HYP 2
    dmg 78
    Fun stuff,based on this because you go HYP you have acces to oki if you dont do the last imput need more try because OP is far but that mean if you are in heat you can freely goes 3 step and recharge heat bar !!!
    But realy cool set up i just discovered now you can add a bit of variation at the end for a new combo trap
    CF ff4 HYP 3+4 ub3 AOP uf n 4 T! ff f2 df1 - RDS ff f2+3
    Enjoy your grab combo, first combo + second its at least 125 total damage and can be more with optimisation and heat.
    Also this set up i just tested catches pretty much almost anything, tech role right or left, stand up, stand up backward and even stand up high kick.
    Its important to do the ff while in RDS because it wont catch stand up backward otherwise, but the others options are slow enough the throw catch them anyway.
    If OP try to stay ground, i guess there is always the possibilities to simply goes for RDS ff 3+4 or simpler RDS d4 which if they try to delay standing up could caught them and even relunch them on CH.
    Anyway i think that cover the biggest aspect of this set up and im actualy pretty proud of finding this one, its huge, not too hard to do and works in many scenarios

    I can understand why they changed the input of DF2~1 and 4~3 to B1+2 and 3+4. It's more friendly for new players most of whom use PS4 or PS5 controllers.

      🤔

    • @lifewillchangefgc
      @lifewillchangefgc  Před 7 měsíci +3

      F+2,1,4 is only good for carrying to the wall to be honest in Tekken 8. Otherwise there are better enders such as wr+3 AOP 1+2 and uf4~d ws4 when you're off axis

    • @tomoaries
      @tomoaries Před 7 měsíci +4

      @@lifewillchangefgc Is there some kind of timing thing with AOP uf4? For some reason when I do it (particularly around the combo at 0:21) it often comes out as if I were just doing u4 even when the input reader is showing a clean single input of uf and 4. Does it only come out right on a proper timing or is there something else weird going on with it that I'm not understanding?
      *Edit: Got it. Gonna leave this here for anyone else who might have been confused: basically just gotta wait an extra like half second and hold out that uf before pressing 4 for it to come out.*

    what the T and ! means in RDS 1,2 T!

    • @emildegas4213
      @emildegas4213 Před 6 měsíci +1

      It means it's a "tornado" move, one which launches the enemy forward or let's yo do a combo ender.

    • @zynstein8059
      @zynstein8059 Před 6 měsíci +3

      Art of phoenix, phoenix stance, the low one. RDS is rain dance, her backturn and HYP is hypnotist stance.
      T! is for tornado moves, WR is while running ( F,F, hold F) n WS is while standing ( the transition between crouch and stand)

    If these are beginner combos, then I don't even want to see intermediate combos let alone expert combos.
    There definitely have to be easier combos than what you are showing here, but no beginner is going to pull these off. I also don't even understand half of the notation you are using for each of the hits.

    • @AdzPower
      @AdzPower Před 7 měsíci +3

      If you want a very basic combo for Ling then I usually go for DF3>DASH>B3>2,2,2> 1, 2.

    • @GeeMTeaa
      @GeeMTeaa Před 6 měsíci

      Combos in Tekken are crazy easy compared to 2D games. Trust me it looks daunting but after half hour in practice mode you'll nail it.

    • @Slimjim8345
      @Slimjim8345 Před 6 měsíci

      @@GeeMTeaa I know that 2D ones are harder, but that doesn't necessarily mean this is easy and good for beginners to start with. Beginner combos should be so easy that they need very little time practicing it. Not spending 30 minutes for a combo off of each launcher.
      The combo I started out with was basically any launcher, into F2,1,4 and if they are still in a comboable state, F2,1,4 again. This would do okay damage, but let me get damage after winning neutral and then get a bit of an oki afterwards.
      It also let me get into the game faster, and get to the fun part. Actually playing the game.

    • @pegathings
      @pegathings Před 5 měsíci

      @@Slimjim8345 i mean you can also play a character with easier buttons then if you're getting discouraged by the inputs. i dont think combos are that necessary to learn the game in the beginning tbh. Getting a feel for neutral and movement is more important imo

      But for me 1+2 > FF3 > DB4 > F3,1 > 1,2 > UF4 > WS4 at 0:59 was way more complicated. It's the same like it was with Raven. Very short input windows.
