🌍 World Stadiums Under Construction (May 2024)

- Stadiums all over the world are still being built and we are constantly on top of things. This time, we will take you on a tour of all the major arena construction sites that will soon take their final shape. As we did in the past, we'll start with the USA and then head east through Europe, Africa and Asia.
In total, there are 16 stops on our route, the last of which will include the immeasurable Middle Kingdom. Along the way we will visit Santiago Bernabeu, Camp Nou and Liverpool stadiums. And many, many more besides.

Also there is a new stadium build in Sofia Bulgaria. It will be the new stadium for CSKA-Sofia football team. At the moment the deconstruction of the old stadium is underway. The competition is still unknown. The capacity will be between 18 to 20 thousand.

Why are China building more stadiums when the ones built for the 08 olympics are almost never used as it is and when they are they draw next to no fans so mostly empty. The Beijing olympics financially crippled the country because of the cost of the stadiums and infrastructure that had no legacy use once the games were over. No sport in China is anywhere near popular enough for stadiums of those costs or sizes
