Acidity can be simply defined as the pain and discomfort caused in the upper part of the stomach before or after eating food. Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) is may be caused by acidity which produces heartburn or it may be non acid reflux of eaten food which may produce water brash in mouth or cough at night, so these were the symptoms of the acidity and Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD).
The common reason for the cause of acidity is due to heavy consumption of spicy food, citric acid containing juices like Lemon, Mosambi( Sweet lemon) or Pineapple ,smoking, consumption of alcohol, having a stressful lifestyle & H Pylori bacteria which infect the stomach via water.
Acidity is investigated with the help of endoscopy test, Sonography, PH study & manometry.
It is not necessary to undertake all the tests but if there is consistent discomfort due to acidity then all the tests are required. After investigation then some home remedies and lifestyle modifications are required due to which acidity can be controlled, other than this some medicines are also prescribed in the tablet or liquid form known as antacids which are used to neutralize the acids. Also, get to get how hiatus hernia is caused and the treatment required for it.
It is very important to know that if you have acidity problems then lifestyle modification is a must and it is also essential to consult a doctor for continuing the intake of the medicines after 6 weeks.

ऍसिडिटी का कारण मसालेदार भोजन, धूम्रपान, शराब का सेवन, तनावपूर्ण जीवन और पाइलोरी बैक्टीरिया है जो पानी के कारण शरीर में संक्रमित हो जाते हैं।
ऍसिडिटी की जांच एंडोस्कोपी टेस्ट, सोनोग्राफी, पीएच स्टडी और मैनोमेट्री की मदद से की जाती है।
सभी परीक्षणों को करने के लिए आवश्यक नहीं है, लेकिन अगर ऍसिडिटी के कारण लगातार असुविधा होती है, तो सभी परीक्षणों की आवश्यकता होती है। जांच के बाद फिर कुछ घरेलू उपचार और जीवनशैली में संशोधन की आवश्यकता होती है, जिसके कारण ऍसिडिटी को नियंत्रित किया जा सकता है, इसके अलावा कुछ दवाएं टैबलेट या तरल रूप में भी बताई जाती हैं जिन्हें एंटासिड कहा जाता है जो एसिड को बेअसर करने के लिए उपयोग किए जाते हैं।
यह जानना बहुत जरूरी है कि अगर आपको ऍसिडिटी की समस्या है, तो जीवनशैली में बदलाव जरूरी है और 6 महीने के बाद दवाओं के सेवन को जारी रखने के लिए डॉक्टर से परामर्श करना भी आवश्यक है।

Kindly reply i am suffering from esophagitis la and severe gastritis yesterday i have gone under 24 hr manometry and impedance manometry is normal but impedance shown 56 times reflux a days and score is 23 doctor advised me for surgery
