The one thing that I do is with the most common plans I sell them for 10 percent of their value and throw in a couple uncommon ones at regular value. And I have seen people buy them up fast.
In fact on June 9th I had a player show up to my camp and buy everything in my vendor then turn around and drop all the plans that were priced full price and said Happy Birthday. The funny part was my birthday was four days ago, and I was like thanks for doing what they did. It really made my day.
This is why I love this community.
lol crazy, i was actually wondering if that exact thing ever happened.
One tip I would add, don't stress about your build until you are lvl 50+.
Hell , below 300 . I
more like 100 i keep getting plans and i keep rebuilding so to save some junk wait till 100 and build then
For sure, bare minimum stick to the weapon type you want to use that way you can at least generalize
You should definitely worry about you build before 50. Because if you picking a bunch of nonsense perk cards, especially not knowing the perk system can really screw you up. Because if you want to make a particular build you'll need the right cards, and it can take awhile when you only get one card per level. So a build you want needs like 15 cards, that's 15 more levels to grind.
So save some time and kinda know what you want around like 25.. 50 by 50 you have the cards. Instead of me trying to be a jack of all trades master of none
Then stress hard as fuck when you get level 50
The biggest thing is to not learn/buy plans for the sake of collecting because plans directly influence what legendary weapons/armor drop. For example if you learned the lead pipe plan you would then start getting legendary lead pipes from that point on. Nobody wants that 😂
Im guilty of this.
We all are lol.
that honestly doesnt bother me too much as a new player, bc isn't it a better idea to sell those legendary weapons for scrip and then make your own legendary weapons? that's what my friends told me when i started lol
@pinkcatminht I mean like you said it's not all bad. Although having a smaller loot pool is definitely better than bloating it for no reason. You're not going to get less legendary drops if you haveess plans. Just less diversity of drops. You get what you want and none of what you don't.
Psh yeah whatever I'll do what I want
That's why I decided to make a new character and begin again. I still play my main but when I found out this info I was like that's why I keep getting medic legendaries.
So I am way more cautious with this new character. I have about 30 unlearned plans in my stash box just waiting.
Best perk u could use early game or if you’re just wondering around looting and shooting, get the ammo scrounger perk, I have mine at one star and the most I found in a ammo or footlocker or duffle bag is 70 rounds, definitely worth it early game to load up for late game
I had that but found it becomes useless when you can just join a daily ops or expedition kill some enemies and come back with max ammo
I'd just point out that, once you get into the routine of clearing out the vendors of caps and gold, you'll realise both currencies are INCREDIBLY easy to get.
So sure, you can save gold by waiting for minerva to have what you want... But in the time you wait, you'll have recouped any gold you'd have lost buying the same plans at full price from Regs.
Just don't worry about it. You'll be SWIMMING in gold in no time so long as you run events and turn in the treasury notes.
Here it goes, don’t spend perk coins on the charisma legendary if you think that will let you share a higher perk card, it does not count. I learned the hard way 😢
Same
I tried to tell a CZcamsr that when I noticed he ranked up his charisma legendary fully. He proceeded to say the people on Reddit are noobs. I still think he's wrong, dont rank it up for the reasons already given
@@eldonb5131Oh, probably those who are 1000lvl+ dont care but as I’m starting to play felt like wasting 25lvls (2 perk coins per card)
Yep
@@eldonb5131yep. Had a similar experience
Don't reroll part, I sometimes disagree. I'm always backed up with legendary items and daily script cap, and materials can be more valuable depending on the type needed for what you are working with.
Secret service jetpack plan coming up with Minerva next week 🎉🎉 can’t wait to grab that
When it comes to SS armor, the Civil Engineer set you get from the new Jersey questline is a great placeholder now.
The Civ Eng is the way i've gone as its a guarantee, other things that are guaranteed that can take bigger hits also cost currency you have to work a little while to get, and anything else you'd consider like Botsmith just comes to you when it wants to provided you grind the right event. So Civ Eng seemed a big win to me, can get a bit of resistance to all the types of damage and it comes with a set match bonus, not sure if a jetpack can be equipped but i'm not really there at my level yet anyway.
@@CyPhaSaRin a jetpack is available for stamps for the Civ Eng if I'm not mistaken.
@@Lordoftheapes79 oof, that's.. i got a little excited by that haha
My mistake: trying to stick to shotguns as hard as i am. Only to find out you get time gated out of the only usable one. I will omit pepper shaker and cold shoulder, former is good but not great; latter is a trap, it is good but it is boring. Every other shotgun sucks, they suck. Slow, low mag and needs a lot of help to make good.
I’m in the midst of that mistake now. I feel like once I tried the cold shoulder, every other gun I try takes painfully long to kill anything. I have separate heavy gun and rifle builds but it’s like I’m throwing pebbles at everything. What did you switch to?
You could try a quad double barrel shotgun or a gauss shotgun there pretty good
Which one are you reffering to getting time gated out of?
I started as a shotgun build but I’m now leaning towards doing a heavy gun build.
Even with an explosive shotgun, I’m doing barely anything with direct hits
@scottm5121 the Cold Shoulder is a quad double barrel, with freezing effect... I love it
I will sell my plans for ongoing events all the time at high prices as there's people who just don't want to grind the events anymore if they are looking for that one plan that they just can't seem to get.
Buying ammo at a vendor or even from players would be my last resort if I’m encumbered and run out of ammo in the middle of nowhere but close to a players shop. Best things I ever invested in was the tinker bench that you can also find in multiple places around the map and the ammo exchanger in my camp. Since then I never run out of ammo, because ammo I don‘t use and steel and lead are easy to find.
You can also farm ammo doing expeditions even the hard to come by ultracite. I don’t know what the expedition is called off the top of my head but it’s the one where you are suppose to toss items in the back of the truck. Well I don’t even do it. I just kill the enemy and they keep respawning. In the process you also gain XP and caps. It’s a win win.
This isn’t a tip, but I don’t lock my resources up at my CAMP, for the most part I actually forget I have them at all. If someone takes the time to travel to my camp and finds nothing of interest in my crappy little shop, they can help themselves to all of my canned dog food, company tea, purified/dirty water, my junk collectron. Often I’ll sell my ammo for zero caps (I’m a melee/heavy gun user) and I’ve converted my shelter into some silly Funhouse style maze that they can explore😊 it’s irritating at times to travel to camp vendors and get nothing for it, so I try to make other players trip worthwhile. One player liked my crazy camp so much they dropped a bunch of food/stims for me and messaged me that they had fun exploring my Funhouse. Settlement building was fun in FO4, but here in 76 I truly get to shine, and I get to entertain guests at the same time.
Thanks for another amazing video!
Dont learn ANY armor or weapon plans untill you understand how the loot pool works. Id pay real money to give my character amnesia so i stop getting junk legendary loot. My 3rd character isnt going to learn anything but secret service armor 😂
Explain??
The word scrip came into use in the 1760s as an abbreviation of the term subscription receipt, regarding stocks.
Script may mean handwriting, or it may mean the printed text of a play or film.
Script is used as a verb to mean to write the text of a play or film, related words are scripts, scripted, scripting.
☝🤓
Ummmmm. You kind of have to buy from Regs if Minerva is not around. She only offers items TWICE per year on her rotation. So yeah.
Great vid! Its to easy to make caps in this game.
Hello. Thanks for the content!
The fact that Bladd calls Scrip "script" drives me nuts
Smashed the 30 like goal hell yeah
How can you have so long range on flamer? Using a flamer but need stand close to the enemy to hit it
Don’t complete any tadpole challenges until enrolled in the scouts. Crazy game will complete the challenge but not give you any badges. You will get locked out of rewards.
Will you please post a video of what prices you should sell your event items for?
working on that video currently!!
@@imbladd that's so awesome! Thank you for all your videos! You've taught me so much!
One mistake that noob could do is that they do events but they never realize to spent treasure notes for machine. And because there is 400 daily limit (40 notes / day), it is god awfull start selling those 400 notes u collected.
What tickets? What machine?
@@LostBoyAggro sorry i meant tresure notes. For gold bullion machine
I have that skull mas now!!!! it's so cool
A mistake that should be towards veterans from fallout 3 to now, you will have to force yourself to destroy the impulse to pick up every cigarette pack and prewar money, sure cloth is useful but these things are not worth selling in 76.
Another kicker, some upgrades in 76, IE drum mags have been severely reduced since 4.
I pick up every pre war money. I have extremely fair prices in my vendor among the typical high priced notes with funny names I have pre war money for 5 caps each as a way to tip me. I had 200 in the shop and the guy who bought an alien disentegrator plan for 500 caps decided to also buy all my pre war money.
There are people who buy my nuka colas for 5 caps off suggested, then buy prewar money to "fill in the change"
I highly suggest putting prewar money in vendor for 5 caps each.
As a veteran since 2018 the Minerva thing is bogus. It takes 4 weeks for her to cycle through all the offerings
Sold my meat weak extras the day it ended and onwards. sold it all for nothing more than 3k each. most stuff not even close to that.
I'm level 145, days ago i was level 100, a month ago i was like level 16, so i'm still starting out, i could use the caps, or could i, i've probably already earned 50k caps at my vendor, i didn't grind anything to get anything that great, sometimes you land something that can pull 7k, sometimes you just have heaps of smaller shit like common plans or junk scrap. it all adds up, but only if it sells. if the cheapest thing in your vendor starts at 1k, i'm out straight away cuz it just seems greedy, especially when you're like level 800.
You can always ask a higher lvl to make ammo. I don't mind making ammo for lower levels, as long as you can that amount asked.
biggest tip, DONT SPEND LEGENDARY PERK POINTS TO UPGRADE THE SHITTY LOCKPICK PERK WITH THE ALIEN ON IT. just dont do it, youll be happy that you didnt later on
You can buy SS armor except mask on regs don't buy that lmao it just mask & it's not a mistake also the only way to buy mods and jet pack of SS @ regs but if you want cheap SS armor set true better wait for Minerva to sell SS armor set just like a few weeks ago except mods I think didn't sell armor mods except weapon mods she sell some
I want that cappy backpack
Yeah i got the ss armour from minerva. I was saving to get from regs but once i saw minerva had them i went to her instead
I hit the bell!
"Do not buy the secret service armor" Literally did this a few hours ago...shit
Like 299. Yes, Minerva is better. Next june 10th will sell the Jetpack. I don't know if she also sell the SS armor's mods.
Expeditions are the best ammo farm
What region do you play in
Not like caps are hard to make? Seen people selling those fossilized Dino planes for 14,000 caps a piece. Got a quick nuke. Like are you that hard up for caps? lol
What servers do you play on?
xbox and pc
can u drop the fit name plz ? love the content bro keep up.
Thanks for the bit in the start. I mean I paid for the game; I'm allowed to play how I want, even if it's a mistake. Some people seem to miss that point.
👌🏻👌🏻
I hate people who try to get maximum caps for plans like dude I have 30 thousand caps caps sent hard to get
i've been looking for the weenie wagon for ages does anyone have one i can settle with 2k or 2.5 caps maybe 3k
i use xbox one btw
Brother, they sell for 25-40k. I'm not exaggerating
@@well_as_an_expert_id_say nah i'd win lol
@@gamingwithasideofsalt if you wait a month or two for grahms event to roll back around, you will probably find it for prices like that. But as of rn it's almost impossible to find one under 30k, unless they don't know what they have
@@well_as_an_expert_id_say lol thats how i got my gatling plasma
Not seen peppershaker plans go for anything less than 15k caps...
I sold one for 5000 caps. Not looking to screw anyone over. What I am looking for is the plans for the sacred mothman tome. Been server hoping for days now and so far no luck.
First 👊🏻
Number one tip for new players… don’t run bloody build you will die consistently..
Unless they find unyielding gear. Theres basically zero consequences for dieing. With unyielding gear they also save so much time from killing enemies faster and a full set gives a permenent 30% xp boost. That makes up for all the time they spend dead even if its 1 star wooden unyielding gear. Check player shops for cheap pieces to compmete a set.
u reap the time wasted dying to a random explosion by killing everything in 2 hits
If you dont know how to play bloodied build you will die alot, yes. With time, you learn How to play as bloodied.
What the fuck does any of this mean.
My advice is don't pay for Fallout 1st. The devs don't deserve to be rewarded for such an unpleasantly bugged game.
Secret service isn’t even the best.
If you sale rare items, make sure its within a reachable market price. Pepper Shaker plan 2000 caps would be max. Selling items too high is a turn off, people will not support you.
Sorry. Can't afford to be cheap and wait around for Minerva when you need SS armor immediately.
