Well, I didn't expect to be listening to Vietnamese rap first thing on a Saturday morning before I go to work!
I think I'm about the same as you, sitting in the 7's somewhere. I liked the beat too, and the vocalist had a lovely voice. Not too keen on the rapping to be honest, but I liked the lyrics (what I caught of them). Nice little homage to his mum. The last line was amusing too.
I have to wonder where in the world you'll go next!

Well this song is for new year, specially for all people studying and working oversea and come back home with mom. Saying bring mom money instead of bring her worry as children going oversea alone bring a whole lot worry for mom already.

Nice backing track I agree and he is apparently very popular at home, so good for him. A bridge too far for me and to be honest it dragged on a bit at the end however the female singer had a good voice. I looked her up and could not find anything in english but she has great vocals. Cheers

Nice, the kid loves his mom! You can't go wrong with that at all. Rap isn't our bag, but the lyrics are nice, wholesome and totally inoffensive. Not a bad message in there, is this a public service announcement? It's a good one if it is! Let's stick with far east METAL though!

Not too bad as far as rap goes, quite chilled late night vibes, hopefully he's not using offensive language (I can't follow the sub titles). Cheers guys have a good weekend!
The lyrics are very deep, Vietnamese friends, we listen to this song and you have to think for a long time to absorb and understand all the words conveyed about this song, not only this song but all the products you give. There's a lot about metaphors, a sentence with a lot of meanings and puns, so the English translation won't be the same.

Culturally man has deep respect to his mom and all mothers since she works hard to raised him up as a man he feels responsibility to not bring worries work hard bring money clean money back to support family and give his mother the matriarch of the family.

Đen Vâu would never use offensive language lo. In the song, there's a line "Mom will whoop your ass if you learn something indêcnt", in Vietnamese, it basically means "Do not dare to cuss or something or Mom will beat yo ass up" =)))))

Well, rap is not my thing at all and not understanding the lyrics doesn't help. But, it is kind of interesting.
