you may have removed the back-up battery and refreshed the bios. or the cpu fan connector was loose.

Our family has 2x dell inspiron 3721 laptops . one of them has had a boo-up glitch since new. Were getting a message that say's - Realtek
pCIe FE controller Series v1.25 ( 04/19/11) - PXE-E61: Media test failure , check cable. PXE-M0F: exiting PXE rom. No Boot device found.
Press any key to reboot the machine. We got this message when there was a hdd that came installed in the laptop at purchase and now
after replacing the hdd with an ssd. After you press a key it boots into windows. I updated the bios and updated the pcie controller bios
but it's still having the problem. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be much apricated.

That might be a hardware issue. Can you boot to windows?
Try connecting everything that comes with the laptop i.e wifi card, dvd drive, bluetooth if any and disconnect any external usb devices.
