The Intense version smells like an upgrade in every way, unless you like the raw explosion of the original.
I prefer the intense version. Much smoother opening by a mile for me.

I've yet to try the Intense version. When I first got Red Tobacco, I found it the most offending fragrance I've ever smelled.
It wasn't until hours later that a wonderful scent kept hitting my nose. It became my top 3 fave.
I still hate the weed killer opening, so when I wear it, I avoid sniffing it.
I let it reach my nose by itself, and we get along beautifully that way! 😅

I will have to get a decant of this. I love that it is more smooth and less obnoxious according to your review. Just weird they have been making the recent "intense" flankers that are more laid back. Nice review once again homie!
People always want something bigger or more powerful. Definitely just a marketing strategy/ term. Better to call it intense which gives it a sense of superiority rather than just red tobacco 2.0 or something like that

Thank you Ross. I have said the same thing. The OG is actually the intense version. I like them both but I feel Mancera was disingenuous with the naming of RTI. I still prefer the OG. I love walking out in the cold and smelling it in the air.
My first wearing experience with Red Tobacco: after I slapped it on and picked myself back up off the floor, I headed out of my apartment and onto the sidewalk to walk to meet my friends. It was a cold winter's day. Just then a car from about 50 feet away swerved over within a few feet of me, and the driver rolled down his window. "What is that cologne you're wearing? It's great!" he exclaimed. I told him, he rolled the window back up and took off. So just a word of warning: dogs in the next county will pause and sniff every time you pump the sprayer on this thing.

I'm waiting for the original Red Tobacco. Bought for $80 CAD came up to $120 with shipping. Can't wait to try it out I love Tobacco scents lol I'm a smoker so lol But if I can get my hands on Intense I will deff tyry that one out as well. Where can I get a sample of the intense? Yup! Mine is the screw-on cap, still totally full after a year and a month. Just one spray is enough. It'll last me a decade easily.
