Oh, I wish my final post op wasn't at the end of Feb. I may need/want a bit of revision on my lipo. I think my knee lipo dent on my left leg is maybe a little softer, internal scaring is softer, but still there. My right knee has a little bit of a lump, that is small, but looks like an oops I left behind a little fat in that one spot. I thought it was swelling for a while , but it's been 13 months. I will find out if my surgeon will do the corrections soon, but I had to schedule 4 months out from my primary consult. I'm not doing this in June. Summertime is my season! I do I want it fixed, but it's not so bad that I think it looks crazy obvious. I just don't like it. I was chunkier in the thighs before but didn't have dents and lumps. I hope he's OK with me waiting until late Aug. early Sept. I'm 49 next Tuesday. I don't want to wait long. Of course, this is if he decides to fix. If I have to find someone else. It might wait till winter. So much anxiety over this!!

Hi Monica! I hope your follow up goes well and you are able to finalize a plan for addressing your irregularities. I know how stressful it can be to have another surgery looming but small touch ups will have much less downtime and recovery than your initial surgery. Enjoying your summer and having your touch up in the fall may be a great option!

Were you able to get in to see your doc last month?

@JasonMartinMD thanks for asking! Yes, he's going to do a touch-up. He thinks just decreasing the hill below the divot will help it to blend in. Make the divot not so obvious. I'm honestly just worried because he also told me I have some loose skin on my knees. He mentioned a knee lift but said he doesn't recommend it because it would leave a nasty scar above my knee. I don't want that. I asked about energy devices, and he told me that they really don't work well and are very expensive and painful. It's not worth it. They work well for maintenance but won't see much of a difference.
I'm hoping that with very little removal, the loose skin at least won't get worse.
Guess I have to embrace my old 49-year-old knees. 🙄

I am going for the Summer Body --- got my tummy tuck 1/29/24 and now am pursuing a breast implant ASAP! I am 59 and myTummy Tuck surgery went Awesome and my healing process is going above normal! I DO have swelling of about 4lbs PO day 18. my physical stress level as of today is above normal actually(gyn. yearly testing today!). Question: There is an alternate choice for Breast implant is the formerly called Ideal now renamed Serene bought by Bimini Tech. as of Aug. 17, 2023. This is a Structure Saline implant so it FEELS very similar (mimics) the Silicone implant without added risk of rupture. I love the VERY low levels of metals and that is why I am choosing this implant over the others. Your thoughts on this Dr. Martin?

I have another question that I have not heard answered by a dr. of of yet. After a tummy tuck the belly skin is removed and causes tightness and the need to bend over to walk for about 14-21 days. I am PO 19 days of of today and I am walking upright now (while feeling tightness) but the elongation of my belly area is so much less than it was. When and Will this change and HOW does this change? Does my skin restretch to lengthen again? What is happening internally to elongate the belly so it looks normal again? Please help me understand this process. THANK YOU Dr. Henry!!!
