That ODROID box logo, when read upside down says CLOTCO... I find that hilarious! Makes them sound like an 1950's American blood plasma wholesaler's outfit instead of a computer manufacturer . I found d it mildly amusing anyway
Wow, finally an android box that uses something newer than the 905x! But price is still a bit high considering you have to add your own parts to complete it. So we are still at the point where you are much better off getting an old office PC with an i7 or strong i5 CPU which completely demolish even these newer android CPUs.
I was given a Q6600 mitx machine for nothing. Added two sticks of RAM for a total of 8GB DDR2 for £12 and a Quadra 4000 2GB GPU for £20, and an old laptop drive. The thing plays Crysis on high. I had written those off as I used to use a core 2 duo at work and they were terrible.
I just wish they would iron out the bugs with the N64 and Saturn emulators. The Dreamcast emulator has minor issues. YabaSanshiro flat out does not support some games.
N64 and the Saturn emulators are a mixed bag of nuts. - Dreamcast emulator I'm pretty happy with. Pretty sure there's only one game that I have issues with, but unsure if the newer versions have fixed that bug (sound audio sync in Rhythm Tengoku, Naomi)

Find its running at overclock (2.0~ghz) 5. Undo settings I changed to see if clock comes back down 6. Clock didnt lower 7. Wtf just happened?"
Had it running near 2ghz - I assume the overclock was saved due to the battery inserted. It'd be nicer if these settings were in the "dangerzone" portion of the EmuELEC GUI
@@TeamPandory yeah you have to set it in the small partiton on the sd card. Otherwise that was just a stock n2. You need to edit the config.ini uncomment and set max_freq_a73='2400' max_freq_a53='2016'
It was running @ 1.9ghz and 2.2ghz ... Which is what this unit is sold as. Tried boosting to 2ghz/2.4ghz as you mentioned - works fine (and still stays cool! 36 degrees C. - But unfortunately, there's still slowdown in OutRun2006:C2C / PSP @ 2x buffered. At a guess the GPU needs pushing here rather than the CPU for extra speed.

@@markcooper8832 I have used them for the older odroid xu4 and odroid go ultra. Was okay, but found it lacked the polish of the other two mentioned. Tbh we had huge problems with those systems due to the hardware, it was extremely janky. The N2+ however, is much more capable 😊
@@charthers8903 there are tutorials on how to add emuelec to a pandoras box but regular arcade controls like the at games legends and atari work with the encoders out of the box on the n2+ and emuelec . Yes. Newer 6 core CPU instead of the 4 core 905x. 4 big cores and 2 little cores. And it said that the 4 big cores can be overclocked to 2.4GHz if you use a fan, while the 905x maxes out at 2.0GHz. What I don't know is if Emuelec is written to use CPUs with big.little cores or not. I would assume so since as I recall you use it on phones with Snapdragon CPUs which do use big.little CPUs....
I don't understand the logic in getting something like this for emulation by it missing wifi Bluetooth my cell phone can do pretty much the same naw got to have mini PC
Man killer instinct hasn’t aged well. Tekken 3 makes it look like crap. Way faster gameplay. People typically get pissed when I say anything about killer instinct.
Really like the performance of this board! Definitely the best EmuELEC performance I've seen to date.

The N2+ is NO JOKE! It's such a high powered device at such a small size. When you overclock it to 2.4ghz, it can most consoles up to PSP with ease.

Yeah. To emulate the Sega Saturn the best, you need a PC or laptop. Beetle Saturn is still the best emulator.

did you edit your config to 2400 and 2016> By default emulelec does not have it enabled. dreamcast runs at 1080p 60fps with 16x aa no problem

Install either emuelec, or batocera. We made an emuelec install guide video- follow that and download / run the emuelec version specific for the N2+.

I have a quick question. I installed emuelec on a 1 Tb microSD for n2 + and I get a black screen with choices to pick from.
Try using a microsd first. I think if the system cannot see a bootable system it will bring up that screen.
