- This is irh daily's second reaction to a BTS live performance! Last time, during BTS' live performance of 'Dynamite' on America's Got Talent, IRH was so taken aback by the sheer talent of BTS, that they honestly thought it was a music video and didn't even realize it was in fact a live performance! This was filmed in a royal palace called 'Gyeong-bok-gung', a palace from Joseon Dynasty (the old Korean Kingdom from the 14th century to the 19th century), and it is located in Seoul, Korea. There are a few palaces in Seoul, but this one is the biggest and most famous one. The outfits they are wearing is the Korean traditional clothing called 'Hanbok', which is also from the Joseon Dynasty. They also have several Korean traditional musical instruments mixed in this song. Some of the lyrics are also taken from the Korean traditional music genre called 'Pansori'. This song is the epitome of BTS proudly showcasing their Korean identity and cultural heritage through music.

The guy with the "sultry voice" is jimin haha. He's the lead vocalist and main dancer for the band and is known for his super unique vocal tone 😊
Real moon, folks. Actually they performed idol because it's about being proud of being themselves as an idol and as s.Koreans. It's also national holidays in S.Korea (Chuseok or Autumn Eve festival) which is celebrated during lunar dates based on Korean lunar calendar. So that's pretty legit and quite fascinating since they're performing in a national landmark, Gyeongbokgung. It's a royal palace where their monarchy used to reside. They're also wearing Modernized Hanboks (traditional korean clothing) So for them to start bts week with Idol is pretty iconic.
I think the moon is added in because it wasnt a full moon a few weeks ago when they filmed.
@@naffy113 oh you're right. They might have pre recorded it a week before. But if they recorded it like a few days before this release then that moon wouldve been real. If this creates a buzz, most likely they would clarify people about that.

They’re all talented and intelligent.
Jimin was a top contemporary dancer at his arts school. He also has a black belt in taekwondo, kendo and a couple of other martial arts skills. Other skills are songwriting and a bit of producing.
Jungkook is talented in sports, painting, rapping, producing, songwriting and dancing. He’s the strongest member. He also films vlogs and edits them himself. He own golden closet films. He’s the youngest member but is the strongest.
RM is the leader, main producer, great lyricists, rapper.
J-hope is the main dancer. He used to do a lot of street dancing. He has also dabbled in a lot of producing and songwriting.
Suga is another main producer and songwriter of the group. He is the rapper. He can play the piano/keyboard. Plays the guitar as a hobby.
V is the great dancer, songwriter, and photographer.
Jin is a university graduate in arts/drama. Plays the guitar as a hobby.
The CEO of Bighit entertainment used to work for JYP.

It was on Korean Thanksgiving day Chuseok! Hence the choice of song Idol which celebrated their culture. The voice that you like is Park Jimin, the IT boy of korea. We have talked about him before 😁. They did "Home" today. Its dope, you must check it out.
The combination of the Korean palace, modernized Hanbok and BTS is just soooo noble, elegant and gorgeous!!! They don't let haters saying that they are too westernized. They are proudly showing where they are from!

To the person/people who said they dont sing with live autotune or recordings/backing tracks needs to stop. They do perform with these things sometimes but that doesnt make them any less artist than others. Stop trying to say that as a bad thing. There are probably only a handful of artist in the WORLD that sing and dance such hard cheoreographies without some support ALL THE TIME. On songs without choreos they most definitely dont use backing tracks most of the time because they dont need them since they arent moving around. In short they use these things sometimes but its usually very minimal and you can still tell they are using their real voice.

They practise for 16-19 hours a day from 2013 and onwards. Yes they write their own lyrics. They always credit their music writing as a team effort. Please checkout introduction to bts by celestex. It’s a short run down about who bts truly is. They are famous for being humble, funny and truly passionate in their craft as true artists. Also checkout the video called “Who is BTS? The seven members of bangtan.” Also, John Cena is a huge fan of BTS and he mentioned many times that J-hope and RM are his favourite members.
You guys really need to react to "This is BTS: Introduction to BTS: Part 1" by xceleste" and "BTS: From nobodies to legends 2019" in order to understand them and their story better.

Idol is a blend of Korean and African beats and the leg dance move is called the Gwara Gwara, a South African dance. This song’s lyrics addressing BTS’ haters (especially allot of racists and xenophobes diss them allot because they’re Asian). They are wearing traditional Hanboks and filmed at Korean Palace, it’s like They’re saying to haters, doesn’t matter what you think of me because we’re proud to be Korean, our culture is Awesome and we’re killing it (BTS are at #1 on billboard 100 USA for three weeks now with their song “Dynamite” and constantly breaking Worldwide records). Lyrics “I know who I am, I know what I want, I’m never gonna trade....cuz you can’t stop me loving myself!”

I love BTS for their honest and beautiful messages in all their lyrics mostly written by them. It's true they practised so hard like running on treadmill while singing and doing dance practise many hours a day. And the adorable member with angelic voice is Jimin. He made me become an Army after watching Blood Sweat and Tears MVs...so please react to that you'll be amazed.

Nice reaction. Love the group. My bias is Jimin. =0) (He is the sultry voice you mentioned =0p). BTS does sing and run on treadmills to build up their stamina, yes. If you watch their old vids you will see them do this. They used to practice 12-16 hrs per day now its just 12 hrs I hear. All members do co-write and co-produce their songs and have done so since the start 2013 debut. I love this song. They wore modern hanbok and they looked amazing. Loved JK's ponytail. its BTS WEEK on Jimmy Fallon... Justin had his own Bieber Week on Ellen 5 years ago for his release for his album Purpose!! I was surprised that BTS has their own week on a talk show lol. I guess Justin paved the way for that.

Yes they sing live in concerts, but they do use backing tracks to round out the sound. Like anyone with backup singers, or if they have done their own adlibs, obviously they can't do them simultaneously while singing the main part.
You should check out ON by bts..And yeah by bts write and produce most of there music..If you look at the credits of who wrote the lyrics or produced the song you’ll most likely see Rm or suga or Jhope..Those are the 3 members that write most of bts music

Idk exactly the name of this place. But this place and the dynasty palace behind them are actually a real palace that have been there for century, and now that place is one of the tourists spots that every foreign Nationalities can go on to.... This is a historical place in south korea where the dynasties and kings back in the days lives.

Even this song, which isn't one of my favourites (yet they killed the live!) has a lot of complexities that BTS uses. The music video has a lot of symbolism hidden in jarring colours.
Being proud of their national identity and cries of them being too 'americanised'? They wear traditional clothing hanbok, near a korean style building.
Them 'losing their identity' as people while being celebrities ? They talk about them having to switch personalities in the song (and the 2018 album) in multiple ways, my favourite one being the reference to the movie Face Off and using that to say they need to adopt different faces
(though you miss out on that without captions haha! Jimmy Fallon has a habit of not putting ones on for the Korean parts)
