Hunting Turkeys on Windy Days - Weekly Wing Tips

Todays weekly wing tip shows some solid evidence of how to be successful on calling turkeys in on Windy days. The wind can be some of the worst conditions to try and hunt turkey in. But Like Edward always says, turkeys don't stop being turkeys just because of the wind and rain. We just have to shift out approach a bit. In this video you can see another calling strategy that can help you on those windy days when an already challenging opponent. Getting a bit more aggressive with calling and making sure that you pique that gobblers interest is important on those windy days when hunting turkeys.
Wind and Rain are especially common in the earlier parts of season as the temperatures are changing and Spring gets underway in full form. When the wind is howling try crank it up a touch and see if you find success on those mornings when the wind wants to blow you off the tree your leaned against.
