I agree. I found a dog and got a hold of the owner, she lied and said she got out of the car through the window…..we set up a meet to give her dog back and she never showed up. Found footage by the Ross…..she let her out and drove off.

Calling the dog ‘IT’ and abandoning her shows he doesn’t give a damn about that dog. He doesn’t deserve to own anymore pets in the future.
What he did was horrible, and I don't want to defend him, but from his accent, English doesn't seem like his native language. Outsiders like me are taught to call animals or objects "It" in school. I only knew we could call it Him and Her by watching videos.
I really wish we had a national database of "do not adopt to" people who have neglected or abused pets.

Sad. So grateful for these rescuers. No dog deserves this. Dogs are the most loyal creatures. Dogs are family. No one should get a dog unless they are going to commit for life.
I don’t want to presume every situation is totally avoidable but yes it’s a commitment for life. I got involved in an unexpected situation with a puppy and at that time I lived in a rental that doesn’t allow pets. I kept her secretly for a few months and then moved into a proper place that did allow pets. Covid happened and she was basically my Covid fur baby. I can’t imagine ever surrendering her. Now I have 2 fur babies 😊

The interesting part is why so many people seem to be "shocked" by this behavior. Think about all the horrible stories we hear about people actually treating their OWN children with neglect and abuse. What chance does a pet have with these kinds of people. Humans treat other humans horribly sometimes. It's overall sad really.

I had a neighbor that moved and left their dog behind abandoned. I hate people like that. I have 14 stray cats that I feed and water every day and night and give them canned salmon mixed with instant mashed potatoes as treats. 😢

The same thing happened to my dog before I met her. She was abandoned somewhere and left to roam the city streets, and the rescuers found her old owners and they said “we don’t want her”.

Heart warming...rescued a dog who was from Tijuana Mexico about a year ago, and at first he was really distrustful like this beautiful dog...our family is so happy with him... a wonderful decision to adopt our pet. I highly encourage ppl who love animals to adopt 😉

Should be on a registry that prevents him from buying/adopting future pets. There should be a free searchable database for anyone to check if the applicant has a known history of bad pet ownership.

When I witness people who spot a dog in trouble, and then take action to find safe shelter for him or her, it restores my faith in human kindness. Imagine, in the process of a road trip and they rescue this beautiful dog and make sure she's safe. A good lesson in the "surrender" process too. How people can walk away from a helpless dog, not knowing if the dog night encounter danger or harm, is incomprehensible to me. Thanks and applause for these rescuers, and so happy this gorgeous dog is living a much better life. Such a heartwarming story!!! ❤
