I had a CM membership, however i never got holiday booking where I want and when I want. When your days accumulate you are forced to go wherever it is available, just so that your days don't lapse.
I stopped paying annual fees from last 4 years, very happy with my decision.

I completely agree sir, I am one of the victim. Being member if you're not able to get the room on your convince, then why one would like to be their member. Their monotonous reply is Sir, room pehle se book ho Gaye the, aapko 4-5 month pehle book krna tha. Jabki I had informed them in advance at the time of memebership taken. They said ho jayega bade aram se. Beware of their filthy tactics. Never ever be their member.

I was in sales for club Mahindra. They have more members than they can accommodate. The remaining inventory is just on off seasons. They won't reveal the total number of purple,red,white & blue members to total inventory nights. It's more like an MLM scheme. They reserve 50% inventory to non-member walk-in guests. They also make most of their money out of the members who can't be accommodated anytime. Good luck being fooled

I stopped paying EMI and told them I don't want to get scammed..Pure scam they are running..we won't get rooms when needed, exorbitant food cost, simply waste of money....annual maintenance cost etc etc...even normal resorts will offer complimentary breakfast.. everything is money money money.... what you are saying is absolutely correct Sir..... don't fall for these type of scams...

I also have an experience of CB manali white Meadows. I have personally experienced that they somehow discriminate the non members providing them the rooms in basement. I genuinely liked their buffet system but their treatment with non member was not good.

I also have the same issue. I became member long time ago when the membership was 1.75 lac with 35 years duration. Still now staying with club Mahindra is costly due to ASF, transportation and food costs as compared to other resorts. Secondly I don’t get booking where I desire to go. I have now stopped paying ASF. I get frequent calls to pay but I just ignore them.

Krishnaraj ji - Very well explained in simple calculation. Everything you said is spot on. Rooms are never available even if you book 4 months in advance. Even if you get bookings you get only one or max two days. Most of the locations are away from airports or railway stations. Non members get their bookings way cheaper than members. I have burnt my money booking in CM. Thanks for this video
Correct! It's a scam. My father fell for RCI (international) membership many years ago. After that we wisened up and said NO to Mahindra, Kamat's and so on..

Total loot. We booked low season &whenever we wanted to go the rooms were not available. Inspire of that They asked fr the maintenance.
After this they advised that we should upgrade by paying more money to ensure that we get accommodation.
By this time we had realised the whole business and refused to pay. Ultimately losing our 1.5 lakhs😮

One must understand that any business that offers you services over a deferred period of time has to be a scam. Otherwise how will they make money? Absolutely right. We first came in contact with club Mahindra almost 23years back. We were just married, very young and with very limited income. We attended one of Club Mahindra‘s meetings where they showed us the idea of club Mahindra and they had promised us whether we buying into Club Mahindra or not, we would get two nights and three days stay in, any of the resorts in India? It was at that time i realised the concept did not make sense. We did not buy into their concept. However when we tried to redeem our holiday package they kept coming up with one excuse or the other. We even tried in the extreme low season but still failed. We realised they were just trying to scam us.

Even relationship manager don't respond to the calls appropriately, I came to know that All property are pre-booked and later on it alloted to non member's. I am a member of the so called Club Mahindra. Would be surprised to know that I never had used their services ever since I took up the membership. The gift vouchers, RCI membership and all the claims did not work for me as promised by them.
I had written several emails in the past but all in vain. No answers.
It is only when they want money from you you will hear from them.
I have not put a foot in any of the CM premises and I get the ASF every year.
Club Mahindra is not bothered about my membership payment paid years ago. Now if I want to avail their services I will have to pay the ASF (which is lakhs) first and then get the entry.
Club Mahindra should respect the members complains and their money invested. For a case like mine, Club Mahindra should give me a free opportunity to avail the services.
I would also say a BIG NO to Club Mahindra!!

I invested 3 lacs in Mahindra Holidays and Resorts 5 years ago. I sold it last year for 8.3 lacs Now I have put in senior citizen savings scheme. I get 68,000 income every year. We go for vacation every year to various exotic places where I get rooms ranging from 3 to 4.5K per day (avg 4K per day). I spend 48K for 12 days vacation on room rent, food 12,000 and some other luxuries like massage of about 8K.

I read their fine print. It says member benefits will apply only in off-peak season. That means members are treated second class people who don’t deserve any kind of privileges.

U didn't use your common sense, was careless then u blame everyone else except yourself. Not Acceptable. Who forced you to take up the membership without written the assurances by company and your own research. Frauds and cheating do happen despite all precautions at times but u must do your Due Diligence first before putting your hard earned money to risk .😲

I am CM member from 2009, I just availed their free 3 N tour once, after that I could never afford their Annual Subscription Charges, it's ridiculous now they are asking me to pay atleast 3 years ASF, mine total 13 yrs AMC Charges are pending, I want refund of 2.25 Lacs paid till now

bilkul sahi calculation hai. further all resorts are away from main cities. You can't get booking in your season. Now a days affiliate resorts are selling inventory of weekends and you can't get booking. I got white season @1.5 lakhs 15 yrs ago.. that time it was easy to get booking now forget.

It is a scam ,we also took the membership and so far it was the worst financial mistake,and when we wanted our money back they told us to sell it to someone,we refused to fool another person,it was a very bad experience

Bang on...whatever you said is 100% true. We are having Red Membership of Club Mahindra now for 10 years...totally dissatisfied as you can never get any bookings as per your choice so we just keep ending up paying Annual Maintenance Fees & our days are getting lapsed !!

Plus the flexibility in choosing the holiday dates we want is not available in CM. Different tiers of memebership and exclusivity to certain tiers during peak holiday season. The holiday season of the kids can never be utilised if a member is not of the top tier

Indeed your calculations are right. Even if a non member has to spend the same cost as a member, he is doing a smart move. He keeps a Liberty of choosing any hotel of his choice based on availability.

Whatever you have said in this video is very true. I have been cheated by Club Mahindra. They have just taken away my 10 nights saying that my nights have been lapsed as I did not utilise the same. My husband had health issues and despite proving everything in detail to the official concerned nothing has been done so far. I would never ever recommend anyone to take the Club Mahindra membership.

You are very right. I have stopped using. Several messages have led only to long replies without addressing main issue. 26000 ASF is ridiculous and you will never get your choice of dates nor get the resort for 7 days at a time. Sad but true that it is a lost cause. Will never use again. 😢

Annual maintenance fee. Which increases exhorbitantly every year. This year we paid some 25k after some discount
Very correct never get booking and every time they say update but booking agent can book with 5000 with breakfast etc. So many nights keep on piling up. If you want 1 day compulsory 3 days.
I am also a CM Member, but now regretting as my 21 days accumulated holidays got locked despite earlier yearly AMC paid. Don't get trapped, you will not get a holiday resort as per your wish rather you will be pushed to take other where you are not linked.

I agree. I was member of CM In three years I never get booking & was paying only annual maintainance charges (paid around ₹ 30000) . Then I stopped paying maintenance and forget it's membership. पुरा पैसा डूब गया

You are 1000% right. Sterling holiday resorts is the most unfriendly company with no service and hospitality. They always focus on collection of AACs if you fail to make payment or delay your membership is unceremoniously cancelled. A big bubble if fraud is brewing in timeshare business under the nose of tourism ministry

1. After 5 years the tariffs of Fivestar hotels will double, and so on. Whereas Club Mahindra members will continue to get same number of night-stays.
2. CM provide Two-meal package with decent spread at Rs 650/- per person, whereas 5 star will not give him a portion of yellow daal for this much.

I am member of Stetling club since 15 years but never stayed in their resorts as we do not get stay of our choice at our free time. Plus as explained sh Agrawal ji....we have to incur yearly maintenance fees wherher we use their facilities or not....so have stopped to pay AMC to Sterling since last 4 years.

The cost of a normal room in a 5 star is 10k today but after 10 years its not even going to be near to 10k.
