Cash is king. I am old school. I Just carry cash or debit card to get into to resorts. I am not getting any membership at any club, period. There are many places which offer the services you want without membership 😊

The role of wives in such purchase decisions is an underrated aspect of selling. No wonder sales executives like meeting clients at home, knowing they'd get two chances to hit the target (and claim overinvoiced TA from their firm). Customer feels he's on his turf, so gets a false sense of confidence, but if the man remains unconvinced, the sales guy can always try to butter up the wife to get the decision in his favour. And usually, in Indian tradition, once someone comes home, you don't drive him away at once; usually, you offer tea or water and as such, these meetings last longer, which is to the benefit of the seller. If you meet them in office, it's a formal environment, so your guard is up and you can walk away easier if you choose to. If you feel sales team will dominate the conversation, arrange to meet at a public place and avoid calling prospective sellers to your home.

Do you have it in written from his official email id. There is lot of mis-selling which happens, coz of the Sales people at an individual level. The organisation doesn't encourage all this.
We faced the same problem and we spent 1.5 lakhs till now. What can we do now?
I m also victim of rockland holiday and hospitality indua pvt ltd who has not provided booking for the last 2 years for 5 year membership. Also recovered 5 years amc charges in discount but no booking despite early booings.
We are also being fooled by Club Mahindra. They collected money in advance with gimmicks, but when enquired they extended time period and said membership is not valid.
What legal action can be taken against fraud by such huge companies.

Mahindra group ka ceo tv par bhagwan bankar aata hai, apne nape tule words se economy, business views deta hai, aur peeth peeche ye sab chalta hai...unbelievable but true....all capatalists do business malpractices to earn not 1x or 2x but 10x....baatein woh logon ko discount Dene ki hi jar rahe hote hain but reality toh wo log hi batate hain jo sufferers hote hain....
Any scheme of any product or service which promises lot of discounts and benefits but against a lumpsum upfront payment is to be approached very cautiosly. Customers are at the mercy of service once payment is made, and can hardly do anything once payment is made and service levels go below promised levels.

Can you comment on why your membership got cancelled and what is the basis for rejecting your right to a refund in case of a cancellation of membership?
i asked membership cancellation because they cannot fulfill the benefits which was told to me. Club mahindra is like a parasite living on others money, sold a product to me which doesn't exist at all.

Club Mahindra is not for the middle class people. Apart from all these issues, their resorts are far away from the city/town you are visiting. Whatever you save in membership, you will be spending in conveyance, unless, you are the type who likes to stay in the resort only and not visit anything else. Another part of what you saved will be spent on food, which is quite pricey in these resorts. The only advantage you get is booking, which is also not guaranteed with all these restrictions of seasons and planning many months in advance.

These are resorts visited in just two year span with red studio second hand membership avg cost per room was 3-4k. Yes u need to book 90 days advance but with second hand u get unused days so u can do multiple booking and cancel 15 days prior. Now I sold my red membership and buying purple at 1/4th cost of new membership

If something sounds too good to be true , it's probably a fraud ..
