- In this episode of Zeepkist I built a track straight from the comments. In the previous video you suggested that I build a track with a shortcut everyone can see but one that has no entrance... Will my friends figure it out?

It would be possible to create a battleship map. Each guess would have a tunnel looping back to the start, but only the hits would include a checkpoint.

I wonder how many times KaN will psyche people out with Fake Shortcut Maps, then one day, make a Map with loads of fake shortcuts and one well hidden actual real one that's used at the last moment to win...? :P
Normal looking track on the surface, ten-by-ten-branch tunnel network with ONE path through. Incorrect paths take three minutes so you can't brute force it.
My thought was a body could get ejected below the terrain and get pushed to the end but definitely not going to work with an invisible wall. lol

This idea made me think about a map where you leave messages for everyone hidden under the map, which lead me to think about a map where you have to drive around in a scavenger hunt to find objects that have parts of a code needed to find the real exit
Then the 'Real Exit' turns out to be fake, like a Zeepkist equivalent of a fake painted on the wall Fire Escape Door. :P

you gotta make a fake shortcut that goes real fast only to spit them disrespectfully back out at the start. That would be amazing.
I think a better way of making that shortcut not be a shortcut would be to make it so that you can get into the tunnel, but then add a lot of invisible barriers to block the direct route down the tunnel to either make the shortcut take more time, or make them look for the route through the barriers. Then at the end, right before the finish, have another barrier that stops them short of going through the finish line.
Should've made some of the rocks intangible as well.

Next time you gotta do actual shortcut inception with an obvious fake shortcut, then another more hidden fake shortcut, but an actual shortcut super hidden within the obvious fake shortcut

You should make a map with diverging paths that merge again like this one, but one path appears slower because you cross the 1st checkpoint later than the other path BUT you cross with more speed which makes the "slow" path faster in the end (i.e. bait people into taking the actual slower path because it seems faster)
What @kan should have done is make an entrance to the tunnel, because the invisible block keeps them from finishing anyways.
Make a rock field like this where the track goes around, but there's a skill shot where if you bounce off the right rock you can make it back onto the track
a singular gap in the wall only big enough for that right bounce
Next time add a hidden entrance, but keep blocking the end with invisible walls
That's such an evil idea, I love it! haha
In cases like that you should manually set a -20s validation time ;-)

LONG CUT! you should make a secret short cut, but it takes longer to go through than if you do the actual track! a long cut.

Great video, great track. Here's an idea for a track that can make things really interesting. Like in this track, create a track that splits the road into 2 roads, and then combine them back lateron. Repeat this like 10 times. Now comes the kicker. In both sides of a split, put a booster, but one of the booster is a bit slower than the other. Create a route between the splits, and if you pick the correct route, you get the best boosts. Its like a shortcut but its really hard to spot, because both paths have boosters, you just don't know which path is better. You can put like a checkpoint after 3 splits to make it harder to figure out which split is best.
It could be cool to have a map that requires people to jump and land into a specific no-clip rock in a field similar to what you created here. You'd have to modulate your speed and angle at such a specific manner to gain access into the rest of the map.
Next track idea. Not allowed to validate. Must have three breaks in track that require untested jumps to next level and must have 3 hidden cheeses.

I want to see a map where the "shortcut" is the actual map, while the obvious path is the shortcut.
Either that, or have an AFK check where actually bring AFK makes you crash, but holding your hands up to go faster/get more air lets you clear speed checks, thus becoming a shortcut.

you should definitely make a super obvious shortcut like this again, thats fake, with a second hidden shortcut thats real, but in a place that nobody would think to look, especially once they see the big obvious one

what if you repeat this level and disable photomode this time (making them think you're just doing it to "falsely" make them believe you opened up the tunnel), but in that version you make it possible to enter the tunnel, but you make the entrance on the opposite side of the invisible wall on the grass (so it's on the small piece of grass from the back, rather than the big piece from the front)? And you partially keep the invisible wall inside of the tunnel, but make it so that part of the tunnel isn't covered by it so you must circle your zeepkist around in the tunnel to get past it, so that when you make them find the tunnel entrance they'll believe it's still a fake shortcut due to crashing against the invisible wall?

I'd like to see a track that has many alternative routes, splits and merges but there is not enough time to check them all and master the shortest. Or another track idea similar to the one in video but there is actualy a way to get into shortcut but it is very complicated.

Idea: Make a map with 4 shortcuts. 3 are fake and the 1 real shortcut just takes a little longer to do than the main track. People will fail on the 3 fakes and even if anyone manages to finish the track on the 4th shortcut, they won't be fast enough to compete with the people who are doing the track the regular way.
Could invisible blocks be used to create an in-air shortcut and to reach it you have to go off a specific jump at a particular speed
make an impossible maze. (except for a shortcut or have the maze be solveable but take a long time)

You could also alternate this idea by including an obvious entrance like the grass rock area that doesn’t work but the real entrance is actually in a more unlikely spot like when there was a track one of you made that you had to drive into a random tree in the middle of nowhere to get launched to the finish.
You did 2 fake shortcuts in a row now do a real one disguised as a fake.

If some of the rocks are intangible but the ground isn't will they still fall through? That could be another false lead to get into the tunnel.
You should make a track like ready player one where you have to go backwards
How about a map where there is a cut, but there is a faster cut that can only be entered if you don't take the first cut: basically you screw yourself out of a better cut by taking the first cut, but of course folks won't know that.
now next week you recreate this map with the shortcut...
and the way you do it is so that you need to do a loop in the split path so that you are wall driving the inside wall to the wrong direction
you know like if you select the right path you dont make the turn towards the goal but go "forward" and you are coming directly towards those that turned left at the division of the path... that way the way down is so close to the wall that you cant just drive there straight... you need to do the loop.
you could have put an actual drop down into the tunnel a bit later than the rocks, lol. to not have a short cut, at all.

You should keep doing this for like 5 more times Kan and every time leave photo mode on then on the 6th time u can make a really hidden shortcut keeping photo mode on but only using invisible blocks and fake blocks to make the shortcut. Nobody will suspect that there’s an actual shortcut. Also on the last track u could make another really obvious one so everyone thinks ur just doing the same thing as the last 5 tracks
