The scene is awesome. I almost feel the intense heat that must be very palpable for people closer to the eruption. I read the geological history of Iceland and the processes happening since more than 50 millions years ago that slowly built the Island. This is still happening before our eyes.

Beautiful, yes, but frightening. I would think that the "frightening" exceeds the beauty. The people of Iceland are surely very supportive of one another, having to live with scenarios such as this. My heart goes out to all of them.
Wait...how are you getting actual sound of the volcano from your drone instead of the propeller noise? Did you settle it near to the volcano, record sound, then dub it over the camera sound?

The smoke of the eruption arrived on the continent today. We have young man in Luxemburg. His hobby is meteorology. He said it might smell sulfur and the sky could be a bit cloudy today an until Wednesday. And a friend of mine told me that already yesterday it smelt like rotten eggs where she ives
