Actually, the City Grip 2s are marked M+S, so they are proper winter tires.
Caught 2 days of snow last winter on my HD300 (actually, it was already spring) and my biggest concern was not skidding, but encountering the police.
I took a fall on my bike 4 years ago, riding on packed snow with patches of ice. The result : a broken hip, surgery and the classic metal brace that I still have. After that, I became over-cautious with the protective gear. Even during the summer, you'd see me geared up as if I was leaving for some grand adventure, when, in fact, I'm prepared for a 20min. ride to work :)
Never checked to see if myne have M+S on them :)))

Back in the 60s there was an accessory windshield for Vespa that had a glass insert with a thumb operated wiper.

To your credit, I have never seen anyone driving in the snow. I have a Peugeot Satelis RS 250cc, I drove it in the rain and heavy downpour in the summer, in the rain in the winter, but I still haven't tried it in the snow (and I don't think I will 😅).. .BTW I hope you feel a little better after the loss of a loved one and I'm glad to see you moving on.Greetings from Mostar.
I do what I have to do get to work :D. Can't say necessarily better but time heals all wounds and live goes on, we keep the memory of our loved ones alive and keep pushing on. I feel we learn to live with the loss and keep enjoying life.

Hey man i really love your videos you have such a positive attitude! What country do you live as i thought it might be somewhere with a warm climate all year but now i see snow? i live in England where it gets like this also, I am looking to buy a 125 scooter for mostly "fun" riding but its a hard choice with so many options

The windshield will be destroyed quite quickly if you put a wiper on it. Hand wiper is good!

Hey Alex another awesome video. Guess what, after my traffic accident I got rid of my Jet. X 125 and got Donnie's little brother, the ST 125 L/C same colour. I am loving it. I put a 29 litre topbox and with the room underneath the seat I can bring home about four grocery bags. The only thing is that it came with a factory defect left plastic cover ( paint bubbling), which the dealer will happily replace. Apart from that I am also getting Michelin city grip 2 because I love them. I had them i the JET X. I don't have a name yet for Donnie's little brother. Any suggestions? Finally at some point I am thinking of buying the NHT 300 for an adventure bike. Stay warm and safe.
Nice :D, glad to hear you like the ST. Also the NH-T 300 is a great option for a beginner ADV Bike. It's very easy to take off road and have a lot of fun with it.

Great to see all year round riding videos. We have been really lucky this year in Scotland with not a lot of snow at lower levels. My Fiddle 125 did prove to be reasonably good even in the little snow that we got at sea level.
I'm thinking of changing bike this year and would like your opinion on the following decision I'm think I'm going to have to make - HD300 or Joyride 300 16?
I like the HD300 more, I don't like the seating position of the Joyride. It's a bit weird but go to a dealer and sit on one see if you fit on it.

Hi Alex. Thanks for the great videos. Do you ride with winter tyres? What do you think of Michelin citygrip 2 for all seasons? I use winter tyres on my MP3 for years now but would like to try a 4 season one as more practical maintenance wise... Thank you!
In this clip i was in city grip 2, they work just fine for me at least 🤷🏻♂️

Da in toate tarile am avut ceva de plata mai putin serbia si croația. In rest in Italia am platit autostrazile (doar alea se platesc), slovenia, austria si ungaria au rovinieta pentru moto.

In Sympony st200i many are having a problem with oil leak cause the double stand hits the engine so they have to change the flange. Do you know anything about this? Is there a permanent solution so not happen again?
I have heard about the center stand being a problem even saw one with the problem. Happily mine was not affected by the issue and as far as I know for affected models there's a new updated center stand.

Se poate cu orice daca adaptezi viteza si stilul de mers la conditiile de drum, asta e valabil si pt cei care imi spun ca "iarna nu poti sa incalzesti gumele si nu au aceeasi aderenta ca vara"

@@RideWithAlex Tu tehnic/logic aveai dreptate, in lege scrie ca e interzis"să circule atunci când partea carosabilă este acoperită cu polei, gheaţă sau zăpadă". OUG195/2002 art 161. Nu zice de trotuare si sine de tramvai. Dar probabil ca depinde si cu cine ajungi sa dezbati :)

Facand un calcul matematic cu teorema probabilitatii, mai mare sansa este sa mori pana ajungi la o agentie loto sa iti depui biletu,decat sa castigi premiul cel mare. Hai sa fim serios daca esti văcar nici vara nu esti in stare sa mergi pe 2 roti. Asta e ca faza aia lui Marius cand intreaba pe forumuri: ba reusesc sa traversez 3 țări cu un scuter de 300? Aaaa nuu domneee..esti un inconstient....o sa cadă motoru...o sa ia foc.....n.o sa iesi nici din țară.:))))) Tare curios sunt, ce ar fi zis superbaikării pe forumuri daca ai fi intrebat,daca e posibil sa ajung in Georgia oe un scuter de 150?:)))).... Hello! I dont know if you ll see this but I wanted to ask you which gear do you use?
you helped me chose a scooter which i now use for work!
For the winter ride to work I have some mountain pants and boots from decathlon, a t-shirt a sweater and a leather jacket above it and some leather gloves. It's good enough for the 20 minute ride to work.
