More like "Ammo Storage Container" 😂
It’s definitely a large space for some brass. I think it’s like potato chips though, you can’t have just 1.
The price point on these Liberty Ammo Cans is ridiculous. I’ve also seen reviews of how poorly designed and made the locking mechanism is. Many reviews of locks failing. I love the idea of what they are offering but it needs refinement and price adjustment. With those changes it would be worth purchasing. I strongly believe that distributors like yourself should demand a better product for your customers.
Thanks for reaching out. I’ve heard a few people with lock complaints, but not many. As a locksmith who handles almost all Liberty warranty calls in DFW I don’t get many calls for locks failing at all on these, honestly. It’s a simple tubular camlock that connects to the bolt work on the back, so not a lot to go wrong. Now the price, sure it’s not super inexpensive, but it is made in America which will always cost more than overseas products. I’m interested in your feedback, though. It’s constructed very similarly to their “entry level” Centurion 18 gun safe, but is $250 less. What would you consider a good price point for something like this?
Thank you for responding to my comment. When they originally came out they were approximately $499 retail I believe. I think that was a fair price for the product. I’m aware that the price of many products have increased drastically over the years but with that increase I would think or expect Liberty to have made significant improvements in this product. They really need to improve the locking mechanism to justify the increased cost. I truly believe that if a company comes out with a much improved version of this people would jump on board. Liberty is not putting their best foot forward on this product. I truly appreciate being able to give feedback.
