    My parents had a moving company when I was growing up...they had a couple of Astros just like this one...seemed like a 318DD was a big step up,from a 238DD....anyway a decent motor for the time...as long as you put a gallon of oil in them about every 1000 miles..lol

    I love this type of panel on old American trucks, because they are complete in functionality. Many are very luxurious for their time.. I'm not American but I believe it's because of these kind of "small things" that I think, they are proud to be Americans. Please, I ask that in the next election you guys choose a good president who does not risk another country attacking this beautiful country of yours with nuclear weapons and destroying everything that was built there. Just as there are beautiful things in other countries, they can also be destroyed by this type of conflict.
    Nice video, I hope that one day American Truck Simulator or Euro Truck Simulator will have this level of depth and detail in trucks.

    • @KevinRichards-my5oj
      @KevinRichards-my5oj Před 3 měsíci +1

      @@tnolds I bet when you're parked, you'd have to put some muscle steering since that thing weighs more than a car. But does steer easy when you're moving. I heard cabover semis built back in the 1970s & down didn't have power steering. I didn't expect that semi to take off that fast. Wow first time I've ever seen a semi move like that. Normally when semis are stopped, they take a while to go fast, even if it doesn't have a trailer hooked up to it.

    • @tnolds
      @tnolds  Před 3 měsíci

      @@KevinRichards-my5oj I can't turn it unless I'm moving, superman might be able to turn it sitting still. But it does do great on the interstate. My camaro is manual steering and I have no problem with it. It is pretty fast I've surprised a lot of people merging in the interstate with it haha.
