Hosea was the other half of the man Dutch was famous for being. If we get RDR3 and its a prequel in the same vein, I want Hosea as the main character. It'd probly divert from the cowboy theme at certain times but it doesnt matter becasue at the very least he was the guy who was most responsible for nurturing the best character we have ever seen (Arthur), and it would make the most sense for that to lead to Arthur being the epilogue character. The epilogue can literally be the events that went down in Black water but alas I'm getting ahead of myself. Hosea is the whick, Arthur is the spark and John is the flame. In my head-cannon, it never went out.
Did anyone realise when Arthur's face was bloody and Arthur breath when he sayed oh Dutch Dutch really was going to cry to see his friend and Brother Arthur injured and going to die you can recap the scene where that happens 2:42 sad fact Dutch really did cry in his right eye there was a point of water then Dutch removed it while he was showing expressions to Arthur
